  1. Still finding it difficult to do anything but fume at Gordon ffs
  2. Speechless. Fucking moron. Cursed fucking club this
  3. I'm not sure. The people who voted for him will see this as Trump protecting American tax dollars and avoiding possible major conflict. The anti-war President as somehow he's managed to bill himself for many. I still feel it likely that sooner or later the wheels will fall off the utter madness and chaos that this administration is currently whipping up, and leave it unmasked as the maneauverings of a wannabe dictator rather than a revolutionary, but if not there are aspects of everything they're doing that will garner more support from his fan base and further divide the country.
  4. I agree with that. Dubravka has done well recently and it was harsh dropping him considering Pope seems to have lost confidence. But I can see where Eddie is coming from. Pope is the overall better keeper. He needs form and confidence back. Some people on social media going on as if Dubravka is peak Buffon ffs. He deserves credit for recent performances but he's often been a horror show for us and just isn't a good shot stopper. Mind you this thing that's happened to our 30+ year olds in that they seem to have aged 10 years in 6 months, if Pope is going through the same thing then it's a different story. And he really is terrible with his feet. Watching him and Burn pass it about at the back is the stuff of nightmares. GK definitely needs sorting out come the summer.
  5. Oh aye, what was supposed to be a really strong bench has just turned out to be very very average. Howe will be focusing on the positives I think. It's what you've got to do. We're still one game away from this being the best season in generations and firmly in the CL running. And most of the teams around us arent any more consistent than we are. We need a bit of a spark from somewhere, something to give everyone a boost. A strong FA cup peformance could do that.
  6. Yup. The rapid decline evident in many of the players last few games is becoming a real concern and threatens to derail our season. Pope, Schar, Trippier and add Wilson to that list. No longer seem capable of doing the basics. And the recent form of Tino, Bruno, Willock also frustrating. Eddie's got his work cut out but this is a little bit what you'd expect with the next to nothing we've done in 3 windows now.
  7. That's the key. There was enough today to show we can be competitive but we dont have a chance in hell if this CB pairing starts or with Wilson upfront.
  8. Meh. This has gone as expected. Just keep it down to 2 for the goal difference ffs
  9. It's the other knee for Botman apparently, so no. I think he's just being careful which I get considering we have a real chance at 2 cups right now. Our season doesnt hinge on getting a result at a place we haven't won in 30 years lads.
  10. Keeping him fit for the remainder of the season is the single biggest factor in how successful we are, including of course the bloody cup final. Can understand Eddie holding him back even if he's at 95%.
  11. Slight, so likely they are just being safe but with the final around the corner:
  12. There's about 8 teams in the mix right now, it seems redundant to be looking at results going your way. I suppose City are going to finish third. Are Forrest and Chelsea the most likely challengers right now for 5th? Perhaps Villa too.
  13. GD might become a factor too if things stay this close. We're okay in that respect but could do with overtaking Bournemouth in the coming week. You'd exepct them to drop off a too like Forrest anyway. Another reason to keep it respectable at Anfield as well.
  14. So that's Brighton, Fulham, Villa all in the CL mix now. Right down to 10th place. Incredibly competitive right now and noone seems to have the consistency to pull clear from the lot.
  15. I say he deserves his shot. 5 or 10 years ought to be enough say?
  16. The fact he thinks the solution to their woes are these sorts of measures tells you he's stuck in the legacy business man mode which will lay ruin to the club as we full well know. How much would the savings be in context of the Manu player wage bill? He's probably not even looked at stuff like that and just said in his haughty business man voice to cut everything down because that's all he knows.
  17. Nail on head. I think Howe and the team have managed to squeeze every last bit of potential from this squad and they're just run the course now. God I hope there's a cup win at the end of it. We absolutely don't look like it right now but football can be funny. Another one of those cameos from Wilson and he's going to find himself below Osula in the pecking order. Needs to have a look at what's happened to Longstaff.
