What a shit goal to concede. Just opened up the middle for some reason
-
We've reverted to type now, can't keep the ball.
-
Thiaw outstanding there again. Burn terrible at left back again
-
Joelinton you jackass
-
Just remembered that Minteh is a prick.
-
To be fair to Isak he can't be blamed when he's had to make an appearance in Wales ffs.

The transformation into a RAT does take a toll on one's body.
-
Well adjusting for average lifespan difference between now and then I'd say the Rat is well above 32 so......

This kind of debate does again make you think that the technical quality of football has dropped in recent decades. The likes of Rice and Bellingham being talked about as one of the best around, couldn't hold a candle to Modric, Kroos, Xavi, Iniesta etc. or Zidane, Seedorf, Pirlo before that. Even players a level below those, say Alonso, Scholes, Ballack, Fabregas and so on were much better on the ball.

Caicedo and Rice have added a few big game goals to their game recently which obviously raises their profile and grabs headlines. That's maybe the one thing Tonali hasnt done yet. A lot of that has to do with his role in the side and the way we play of course because he can certainly strike a ball. Other than that he's on par with them imo. If I'm being honest Caicedo on current form probably edges it. Rice can be guilty of taking too long on the ball at times or getting into the sideway passing habit. Although again maybe that also has to do with the mind numbingly boring shite Arteta usually plays.

Exactly. And we will be waiting. After all, his ancient Greek namesake had a promising career that ended very early, here's hoping Alexander the Rat follows suit.
-
Aye if Gordon and Elanga manage to get their heads out of their arses they will benefit from his link up play as well.

Look here lads, he could score 40 goals this season. That's not the point. Goals, assists and performances shouldn't distract from the fact we've clearly overpaid for him and absolutely failed to replace the striker who's yet to score a league goal this season.

Yuck Brighton, be nice if we turn up there for once
-
Thiaw and Botman near faultless again, not that Forrest threatened much but they make defending look easy. I hope Hall is fit after the break because Burn at LB is just painful.
-
Much better second half, much needed result before the break.
-
I thought he'd hoofed it into the stands. Almost surprised to see the net bulge
-
What a penalty Wolte! Brilliant from Bruno again, he's been the difference today
-
A second would really be welcome here considering our home results
-
AH FFS unlucky off the woodwork Wolte
-
I really really hope Elanga is better than what he's shown so far but we've waited freaking ages for a RW only to apparently sign a poor man's Murphy
-
Proper captains moment from Bruno that goal, much needed. Gordon and Elanga off. Thank feck for that.
-
Absolute dog shit performance that. Elanga and Joe can't seem to make a 5 yard pass. Burn has zero link up ability and gets run past at LB surprise surprise. Wolte and Gordon barely in the game. Tino is critical to linking play between our defence and midfield. We need to find a way to do that without him. Find a bit of creativity from somewhere ffs.
