Yeah but as Gordon, Barnes and Elanga's goal contributions equal FECK ALL in the league I get why Howe kept him on. He's the only one that made anything happen during the game even if it was just once We are all well aware of Murhpy's limitations. Howe confirmed in the presser today that he was managing Woltemade's minutes on Sunday.

I thought Woltemade looked knackered and that must have been part of the reason for the change. I'd start Osula tomorrow and rest Wolte except he's not fully fit so the German might have to pull through somehow both games somehow.

Ah so some of our complaints about not moving fast enough on commercial deals maybe did have some merit to them. I suppose Silverstone and those who think he did a decent job will point to having grown revenue x-times since he got here but that has to be seen in the context of where we he started. Ashley was so inept that pretty much anyone could have come in and done a number of things to massively boost income. Plus Howe's success on the pitch has been the main driver for growth.

I reckon it's just a lot of information to swallow for him

Yeah, you dont want to..........get off............on the wrong foot with Gemmill here.

On the verge of being non existent is only time you'd want to have any sort of interaction with Mike Ashley, and that after seriously contemplating the peace of the sweet bliss of nothingness.

I wonder if it's time to take a small step back from the whole oh how amazing St James is and the whole fist pumping arm waving extravaganza some of our players have going on there; and also recognize that we're freaking professionals that need to try and perform no matter the location or occasion. Drawing on SJP is critical to any Newcastle side obviously but then if that's the only thing that gets you going we have a problem.

The problem with dropping Gordon and Murphy is that Elanga has been rank and Barnes just doest cut it when he starts. Tino's injury has screwed us royally because he was so central to everything we do. Burn at LB is just a handicap going forward. We've also been unimpressive at home so far even when we've won so it's not like this has come from nowhere but today was just abysmal. It's more than players missing or fatigue. It's player attitude and Howe needs to step on it fast.
