Tonali seems to have a knee problem Just great
-
They're all completely off it so far tbh. You could look at anyone bar the CBs and say that's a rubbish performance
-
Well at least the refs not completely blind then....
-
I'm sure that won't even be a yellow again
-
Ref is a cunt in other breaking news
-
It's hard to understand who Joe is trying to pass to sometimes
-
No yellow for a deliberate handball. Cool
-
Burns been skinned down the right twice already at least
-
Trips and Elanga just don't look convincing down the right
-
Ffs Hall man. Glad Elanga isn't playing down their right today

Hahaha suck it Alexander!

So its just some Germans being miserable sods? Who knew

Great just great. Time to wrap Woltemade in cotton wool then because if something happens to him we're back to Gordon playing up front.
-
Fell into the middle of a brutal work day for me but really enjoyed the bits and pieces that I caught from that game. Lads looked confident on the ball and some of the link up play and movement was mint. Woltemade is class isn't he. I could swear the first goal was a deflection but what a clever little finish. And the sooner we hand Tonali a new contract the better, once again a different level to everyone else on the pitch. Osula is also showing some really good signs when he comes on. Take the confidence into the next game and beat the shite out of Forrest to have some momentum before the break, after which we naturally destroy the league with Wissa and Ramsey back.

Getting back on topic, Carragher IS a massive cunt. Least likable pundit on TV by country miles. Between the shite he sprouts, the oh so subtle bias for Liverpool, and his twingy, whingy, pitchy little accent there's barely a face you'd want to punch more. Also thinks he's funny when he has zero natural charisma. Michael Owen might be a bigger cunt maybe when I think about it, but then he doesn't get a tenth of the screen time this prick does.

That sort of thing is only likely to motivate a player with the right attitude. So keep it coming I say. We've already seen enough to be fully behind the lad.

Wolte's got to start, he'll be off around the 60 min mark anyway. Interesting to see if Elanga and Barnes start. I'd start Elanga, we have to give him some game time, a decent performance could do his confidence the world of good. I'd go with Gordon on the left again for the same reason; see if he can get his head right.

Oh and Tino right now is a massive concern. I know he has rough edges still but he's instrumental to so much of what we do, a major outlet with his ball carrying and he's always in and around the play looking to link things up. No wonder things fell apart when he went off. A bit of luck with his injury for once would be welcome. Shades of 2 years ago with our luck with injuries thus far.

I hope Howe abandons this back 5 or whatever it is now. It just doesn't work. Burn on the left worked for a season but has been a nightmare since then. He's got to figure out the midfield, completely agree with other views on Gordon. Murphy thankfully can still provide a killer pass but his overall play continues to underwhelm for long periods. Barnes is a one trick pony, Elanga hasn't looked settled yet. Joe is also a concern, he hasn't seemed his usual self for a while now. I wonder if the injuries have had a permanent effect. Thank goodness for Tonali who does about 3 roles in there because the rest have been bang average for months now. Tons to sort out. We might just also need a bit of luck and a couple of results to get everyone's confidence up. The good thing is we've been in these rought spots in the past and Howe has always worked it out. Wissa and Ramsey's injuries have obviously been major blows too.

Why do people keep bringing up Dubravka ffs. He deputized for the injured Pope didnt he a couple of years ago and he was absolute dog shit, couldn't save anything thrown straight at him and we dropped a ton of points as a result of it. He does look good on his day and of course he's had some good games for us but that run eroded any confidence I had in him and probably Howe's too. I'm on the Ramsdale bandwagon. I don't know if he's as good as shot stopper as Pope but I doubt the differential would be anywhere near that of their ability with feet. Give him a chance.

We'll lead the game for 85 minutes only to concede two stoppeage time hattricks 1-6 to them
