Thats puts him in control though, the company basically does what he wants.

This was expected but Im still gutted. They'll eventually bid over 20M and then we'll sell. And we wont see a fifth of that money being respent. Btw Wenger can fuck off with the timing of this. I hope Spurs do the cunts over this season and they finished 6th or something
-
I agree. We'll probably put in a grafting performance and get beat 2-0 or 3-1. If we manage to scrape a point I'll be over the moon.
-
Yes but it still pisses you off doesnt it? Clubs that were stuck in the championship for years suddenly way more superior to us. Ashley can just twat off.
-
You're lucky then because it still pisses me off no end. Especially when the likes of Southampton spend 15M on a striker.
-
Im sure we will try very hard but that cursed line will prove just to hard to cross.
-
Sheesh, imagine being 6-0 down and watching Iniesta, Neymar and Alba warming up on the sidelines
-
Is he being paid or something to advertise that herbalife thing?

Yeah I was speaking in general. Thats why I thought they'd be in for him, their style of player despite the physical presence, would give them a bit of steel in defending (and attacking I suppose) set pieces. Thats why they are apparently in for Luiz too, the very definition of a footballing centre half. Puyol is no nonsense but I think if we made a list of defenders who were comfortable on the ball from his generation he would be right up there.
-
Are they going to be able to withstand the likes of Bayern though? That raw physical power? Im surprised they havent beefed up considering what happened last season. I love their style of play and personally dont get why some people get annoyed with the 'tika takka' or whatever they call it, but there's no doubt teams like Cheslea and Bayern have learned to bully them out of games. I really thought they would go for someone like Hummels in defence and a strong physical runner in attack to cover that part of the game they've been lacking since Toure and Ibrahimovich left.
-
I'll be happy enough if we see one or two of those things at the Etihad.
-
Did not I make that sarcastic enough? Ah I forgot the smiley
-
They kept us entertained at least What is there but hope? Anyway there was truth in some of them wasnt there? Abumeyang, Bent etc? Dont know whether we went in for them with everything but at least something seemed to be going on. Media's busier now that the season's starting so arent making up that many stories. Im sure Kinnear's working his arse off to get that striker 'over the line'.
-
You've got to be kidding me. Oh wait Jonas will be fit? Well thats solves all problems nothing to be worried about then.
-
-
Not even any rumours any more. Shambles.
-
Dont think it will be whopping, something like a comfortable 2-0 or 3-1 to them.
-
This.
-
Jumping on the bandwagon I know but its difficult to look past Dortmund, with Klopp and their style of play. And I hate absolutely hate Bayern for some reason, I hope they implode and get done this year. I quite like this Mikhtaryan guy they've signed too, may not be a Gotze but he's got tons of potential.
-
Bit late for that. Do you even know who's in charge?
-
Not if they use that money which they probably will. Paulinho is quality too although Im not too sure about the amount they've paid for Soldado. Unless Arsenal buy a couple of people this may be the year Spurs finally tip them over.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
aimaad22 replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
My question was why, not how. Ashely's been here for 6 years now and he's supposed to be good at business isnt he? Ambition. Thats the issue here.- 10610 replies

http://www.thejournal.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-stronger-two-years-5671462 Why the hell are the likes of Southampton in a 'much stronger financial position' as us? Its not the same as their owner willing to spend more money, I hope he understands that.- 10610 replies
