Instead of censuring someone who "destroys" a thread, we're locking threads that "might" get destroyed/degenerate before it happens, just in case. Unbelievable Geoff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like it's not FFS, but Charles Green, Sheff Utd fans think he's worse !!!!!

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Toonpack replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Why? he's simply stating one of the main facts of life of the modern game. If he did tell them to "shove off" headlines next day would be Pardew unhappy at NUFC or at odds with NUFC policy or some such.- 10610 replies

European games, added sponsorship etc. Trading players is a fact of life, we are fortunate that we can demand top whack if and when we get sniped. See the financial summary stuff/link I posted, there's going to have to be a lot of belt tightening most everywhere (but us) in the EPL, if one of the mega rich come in we're screwed anyway, but it'll cost them !!- 10610 replies

Can't reassure you, sorry BTW I think your club is screwed, even without the debt (which appears insurmountable) there's the EBT dual contract thing to get over, 75 players they reckon over more than ten years all playing whilst inelligible. Even if the SFA don't have balls, UEFA will have. No football creditors rule up north either !!
-
Nowt specific, just we are trying to do a deal for one of Cabaye's mates, assumption is it's Debuchy
-
I agree, but he was an integral part of the best defence we've had for eons, but he is (or should be) eminently replaceable.
-
Loads of teams are going to have to go through a slash and burn phase, we're better than most (on the pitch) and we've done our belt tightening. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...laid-bare.html

Newcastle United - 7th largest fanbase in England?

But without money Stevie.................................................... -
Agree, and as for the last bit, which I also agree with, they have an impossible job with the cheating, knocked over by a feather players of today. Pity TV didn't spend so much time pouring over dubious decisions caused by the players as they do over genuine ref blunders. Cloughie would have been slapping the modern pro around the head !!!! I also think the drive towards favouring the attacker is just an evolution/reflection of the instant gratification culture of the modern world. You can have a really exciting 0-0 but that doesn't float many people's boats these days. You favour the silky skilled player flowing past everyone, the hard man fairly (get the ball and the man) seeing how fast the silky skilled fucker can limp is long gone. A happy medium would be ideal, will never happen. For all it's roughness, you never saw the really nasty off the ground studs up stuff you see today. (unless Argentina or Uruguay were playing). A proper hard but fair tackle was a thing of beauty and got the crowd going almost as much as a goal. There's also the 24/7 saturation which has effected "the game" atmosphere being the first to suffer, the match used to be the "great release" at a weekend because that was really the only (apart from the Chronicle) exposure to the game, nowadays it's been talked and analysed to death and the match itself is somewhat an afterthought. Just a natural "evolution" I guess.

Davide Santon signs a 5 year deal with Newcastle United
Toonpack replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
Not sure I'd trust him and HBA 100% defensively, but with a better (more mobile) right centre half than Williamson (who to be fair has done a good job) who could slide over to cover, it'd be interesting to see him on the right, HBA likes to cut inside Santon naturally will want to go to the outside, interesting challenge for opposition defenders, up against two very skillfull ball players who could go (attack) either way. -
So posting is now against the rules ????? But mod antagonism of posters isn't, splendid!!!! Sadly gotta fuck off and get my flight, I'll pick this up again tomorrow, if I'm not banned of course.
-
Well you've been invisible in threads that I've read then, or maybe I didn't notice you..Point stands. Why don't you check my posts over the last few weeks/months and see just how many of them have been Leazes "stalking"?????
-
Yes I fucking would, I have hardly "engaged" Leazes at all for some time but I will pull him up when he spouts what I consider to be shite. I have consciously avoided the "old topic" but I will comment on anything I consider spurious from anyone, including the lunatic. You've been away ages, or appear to have been, get your facts right. Btw you've posted twice in reply to me, both antagonistic, great example mr moderator, maybe you'd like to refute the valid point I made in reply to your first bullshit reply, eh? You know maybe we could have a discussion on a discussion board. Pathetic
-
Just pointing out its (as usual) bullshit application is all
-
A good manager How many succesfull companies/businesses start of paying top dollar salaries ??? I would add, we are the perfect example club of the falacy of his statement over the past 25 years or so. As for the "shut up" - grow up. Is no-one allowed to respond to the loons posts anymore ???
-
Not worth arguing because it's your usual utter garbage. Wrong way round, success breeds the ability to pay higher wages.
-
T'was my Mrs he spoke to. What else he said was "The chewing is a nightmare but Vic's vapour rub on your skirting boards is the absolute top anti-chewing tip I've been given" "It's great" "Don't know if I'll be at Newcastle next season" was the only NUFC related thing he said.
-
Aye current team is full of crap isn't it !!!!
-
As an aside, Perchenbauer doesn't know if he'll still be here next season - from the horses mouth btw. Pity really, we've just become related (Our new pup is his pup's half sister)
