Is it feasible to expect the person with his finger on the trigger to be entriely certain that the person in his sights is absolutely the right person? Intelligence, such as it is, leaves a lot to be desired and while innocent lives should not be lost, is it actually possible to be a hundred percent certain that you've got the right guy? Whoever is playing Ingerlund gets my vote. It’s not that I dislike you lot or anything, it’s just the bile and spite I feel for those southern (south of the Tyne is south RIGHT!!!) bassas far outweighs my desire to see fellow Geordie’s happy. Apart from the German goal, I really can't see any evidence of greater swerve than "normal" balls. And even that goal was not hugely different to other good goals I've seen - even from the days they used to play with a brick disguised as a football (ye olde caser) Kaka's last night was a fab bent pass into the top corner for example. The only criticism I would have is it does seem to get balooned a lot, but if it's hit sweetly it seems to fly true enough. So no sympathy for keepers here, if it ain't hit right it isn't going to trouble the keeper anyway, unless he's in row Z.
