  1. Ah brave Sir Robin, do yourself a favour read the article, it's written by a lawyer, who also so happens to be a football finance expert.
  2. You are wrong, he hasn't got a leg to stand on. https://stefanborson.substack.com/p/the-final-isact
  3. Hard to prove, Bollocks, in Isak's case we've got months of not playing/twatting about and outright declarations of "not playing for you again" and yet fines would be hard to levy, aye OK. We don't have to prove anything. We fine him, and we fine him again and again each breach, he could then try and get them overturned but he's got no chance given what's gone on. There's no negotiations before a fine.
  4. Oh and, so the contract provisions signed by ALL players to protect clubs from players not trying/taking the piss isn't worth the paper it's written on as per McGroin, someone should tell the FA/EPL/PFA how have they missed that all these years.
  5. Of course they can, these fuckers are monitored to death.
  6. Read it again, he doesn't have to be selected, he just has to turn up at matches (and any team activity) if told to, and play/train to the best of his ability. If he's not doing the latter and not being selected because of it, he can be fined. The contract protects clubs from players taking the piss.
  7. I saw that and IMMEDIATELY thought of you 😂
  8. Never mind us, he'd have to adamant he'll not be playing anywhere at all for 6-12 months, and coughing up fines.
  9. I think we maintain the "he's not going anywhere stance" whether true or not, again to avoid clubs saying "Ah, but you'll be getting £100mill plus for the twat".
  10. In addition to the £70 mill losses that dropped off our PSR cycle this summer, which is what allowed us to spend, another £65Mill (22/23 loss) drops off end of next June, we made a profit in 23/24 (£1 mill), 24/25 figures are not yet available. I really don't think we have PSR issues just now, but Eddie mentioning we do does no harm in negotiations, given only the club really know the position. All that is irrespective of any Isak profit.
  11. Osula starts up front for me, whilst I am less than convinced by him (there are flashes) his goal on Monday was due to his strikers instinct, he anticipated the flick on, moved for it and it was a very calm finish. I'd give him a shot.
  12. The hip is a joint between your leg and your body, you shoulder is the joint between your arm and your body, but apart from that it's exactly the same.
  13. When Murphy did his shoulder he was out 3 months 😳
  14. We usually start seasons slow, if the current strikerless form is our usual starting slow we're going to be scary as fuck when we hit our stride. (Injuries notwithstanding).
  15. Good, bring the old place closer to "up to scratch" while the time needed for the new place ticks by.
  16. You vould have stopped after Carragher Alex.
  17. If Hall's gets fucked (again) Tino will switch and Tripps will come in. Burn will be LB of last resort, and better than Targett anyway.
