Our greater depth will improve the first team (striker question mark apart) because we'll have competition. Who in our first choice first XI could be realistically improved upon with a shoe-in upgrade currently, outside of Murphy with Elanga (potentially) I'm struggling to think of anyone else, maybe Big Joe but Ramsay may be that answer. Our first team performance level is very high (second only to the dippers from Dec last season) it's the drop off when we lost someone that is the issue we're addressing.
