Eye also heart Nobby. What a legend.
-
That would be a very lame excuse. 26037 It's true though. Tbh, you wouldn't compare the Liverpool sides in the 70's and 80's to Chelsea now... or would you? This knowing the defence of the opponents was much worse, with no foreigners playing.
-
Nah, I think I'll rather be Souness, thanks.
-
Now now, better not get too cocky...
-
*Dances* See, what was he thinking - leaving his beloved club. He's no hero there at Villa.
-
We could get Ambrose back from Charlton too. And Robert and Bell... no wait...
-
He probably failed his medical an hour ago. That said, we aren't getting live commentary on one of today's greatest sporting events... Nobby's medical. I'm sure there's going to be another press conference announced, that will be cancelled tomorrow...
-
He is good at drinking... 25723 That's just demonstrated what's happened at PSV. After winning their leauge and getting to the semi-finals of the Champion's League and getting narrowly beaten by Milan, they've now sold off almost all of their superstars that helped contribute to their excellent season. And now, they've moved for average-at-best players like Michael Ball, who will be replacing Lee Young-Pyo. What is rather odd though is that some of these players are going to smaller and weaker clubs like Villa and Spurs.

I agree. Shame about the manager though.
-
I'm sure Butt 4 won't return to our line-up. Hopefully.
-
But Owen and Faye in the same team IS the joke.
-
But a hell of a lot better than Shola or Chopra.. 25656 So is Dickov. 25664 And Horsefield.Potentially Alan Shearer's "short term" replacement.
-
Ready for another "desperate 11th hour bid" I say, because a striker we've not been (or barely) linked to is about to sign for a club. This being a player of the claibre of the awesome Fredi Kanoute by any chance?
-
What is to be honest about that? You really confuse me with your use of "tbh"
-
John O'Shea, there's a guy who could be a good left-back. Showed a lot of promise that year, but has struggled for first-team football with Heinze in the team.
-
That would be a good plan 25565 Yeah, I'd doubt he'd still be happy to stay at Chelsea.
-
Even if Torres may be more of a "wonderkid" and has more skills to his game than Owen, I'd still think Owen would score more goals and would be more ideal for a club like us.

Boro sign rochembach, lovenkrads, xavier
TheInspiration replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
What about this Douala chap? They wouldn't ant to give him up too I suppose, having lost Rochemback. Could have let them keep Viana in a swap. -
Yes I only saw him at Everton and don't remember anything good about him, though this was qutie a while ago.
-
He'll get booed by enough to be heard i'm sure of that. Because firstly there are plenty of toon fans who really don't like him (as we know from message boards!) and secondly because of the "Goldfish bowl" wanting to go to Spurs thing. 25334 Telling the world he felt like he was in a goldfish bowl didn't really help though. Just helped to get him out.
-
Michael Ball? We may well be the reported "bigger" club. 25320 Thats what i was implying when i stated the ball story..not sure how much truth is in it though 25330 Aye, I guessed. Didn't notice it was you who wrote it though. Tbh I don't actually know much about him.

I know, our midfield has become a little thin, seeing as injuries like to Emre and Dyer could have a big affect on the team. Who would be cover then - Faye?
-
Would Milner be going on loan though? That wouldn't be too bad, knowing that if he comes back, he'd be a more experienced and improved player. Hopefully.
