  1. Seriously, the amount of shite I come across here is just too funny. Bramble getting more abuse? I can't accept that. No one here ever repeated "F**k off Bramble" all the time and called him a load of very insulting remarks. And people stuck up for him also. Bramble occasionally having a good game and Shola constantly rubbish is yet more nonsense. Shola's had more good games than Bramble has in my view. This whole singling out Ameobi because he's been rubbish for six years is pathetic also. That time period included him being young and developing and also injured for ages. He's done absolutely NOTHING recently worth all the abuse. How many times do I have to point out he's been out for ages, it's his first start, and his form before the operation was excellent? The whole team plays crap yesterday, but Shola gets the blame when really the rest of the team should be no less exempt from criticism, regardless of how long they've been here. If most of the team were rubbish yesterday, regardless of how good/bad you think Shola is, you shouldn't be surprised if he's also rubbish. Singling him out like that is just downright stupid.
  2. It's simple really... For example: Smith and Geremi were bad, they have been at the club for two months. Shola has been the same player up to the same tricks for 6 years. Why should I explain why I'm not giving other players abuse in a topic about Shola? It's incremental. I think Allardyce should take a big share of the blame for the defeat last night... However I am also very much inclined to believe he can learn from his mistakes. Not the most original of arguments; the old Ameobi has always been rubbish argument. I doubt you were honestly complaining about his performances before his operation. Granted he was making mistakes, but scoring and making goals frequently also, whilst carrying an injury. That can't be a bad thing surely? Or did you still want him shot for the terrible crime of making a few mistakes? He comes back from his operation and plays badly in his first start - hardly a surprise for any player really. Then again it's Shola, so let's give him plenty more insults. Why didn't you give players like Bramble and Babayaro nearly as much abuse? Prejudice perhaps?
  3. I've seen all our games this season... and that is simply not true. Viduka was poor against Boro, but good against Wigan. As for being offside and giving away free kicks, you're simply talking crap. You've not really helped your case in proving he isn't a scapegoat by not explaining why all the other players didn't get abuse from you - certainly not in the same vain as Ameobi. He wasn't even the worst player on the pitch. Then again he's a brainless idiot, so should be shot.
  4. You're right. He wasn't the worst player on the pitch and I sincerely hope nobody's blaming him for the defeat, but sadly he's being used as a scapegoat as always. To criticise him is fine, however to single him out for extra criticism and in fact abuse, is frankly ridiculous. He's been out for ages and has barely played since and still showed decent form in pre-season. It's his first start of the season and the team plays rubbish, however he's the one who gets all the abuse. Bramble and Luque haven't got nearly as much abuse as he has - it's pathetic really. I don't know why everyone abuses him. There's normally some reference to how he's never been good enough, which is strange really because before the operation he clearly WAS good enough as he was regularly scoring and making goals. It's his first competitive start for months and he gets all this abuse already.
  5. Our basic problem is we played probably the slowest midfield in the football league yesterday. Both central midfielders lack pace and then playing Smith on the right was terrible. Also I'm all for playing Milner, but he's very slow for a young winger. I know Emre and Barton are neither lightning quick, but they at least add flair to our midfield.
  6. I wouldn't worry about any cheating, he lives in a complete fantasy world. Righto numbnuts. Hope she finds out what a dirt bag you are and you never get to see your kids again. You fucking twat, this is one of those times when you just wish you could see the person who posted this. You'd be on the end of a furious beating you little cunt is it was possible son. :icon_lol: Get him tel't. Well within your rights tbh. I tell thee what like I can take a lot of stick but he's crossed the line saying that. The fucka doesn't want to publicise himself turning up to any Toontastic piss-ups or 5 a sides thats for fucking sure. There's obviously a reason he said that though. You not care about your wife and kids?
  7. I disagree, the rest of the team were dreadful, Shola was fucking dreadful. *cough* Alan Smith *cough* I'd rather play Fumaca than that useless donkey. Smith was terrible - I reckon he was probably worse than Ameobi, but then again he isn't Ameobi so won't get as much stick naturally.
  8. Do any of our midfielders/strikers know how to pass or cross? This is pathetic.
  9. I'm not denying Ameobi's been awful. It's just he clearly IS the scapegoat seeing as nobody else is getting any abuse at all. It's a bit confusing really. Are you watching this match on a 14" black and white portable ???? No. What's your point?
  10. Im sorry like but if the use of the word abused there is to signify anything other than the fact we think hes shite then you can foooooooook reet off Errrm... it's not. Look at some of the posts and you'll probably see why I used the word.

  12. That's funny. I thought it was only Shola that's been bad, seeing as he's the only player who is a "fucking useless cunt", "waste of skin" and "inept piece of shit"
  13. Gotta love this. Shola the only player being abused criticised. They've all been diabolical.
  14. If you're going to say that, you might as well say that to everyone. They've all been crap - Ameobi certainly no worse than Owen. should still be replaced by Martins however.

    London

It takes nearly two hours to get to London from where I live via train, which is ridiculous considering I'm only 60 ish miles away. Been on the Tube plenty of times in ther last couple of years and if I'm honest, I've barely worried about being blown up by any Muslims with rucksacks.
  16. I don't understand why you have to include that he is Scottish, is my point. Which is a very fair point Offshore. It just so happens you've made a slight generalisation about Scandinavians, saying they're racist. Actually if the Scottish comment is "racist" then the Scandinavian comment is also "racist" (although IMO neither are). Either way that's some stranger refereeing. That's what I'm getting at - I reckon he's deliberately put it that way so that he can attempt to prove wrong those who point that out, by saying "Typical racist Scandinavians" actually means typical racist people from Scandinavia, as opposed to typical Scandinavians being racist. If he really didn't mean that in any "racist" way, he wouldn't phrase it like that.
  17. What was the last thing going through Mr. Jones' head when he was working on the World Trade Center's 90th floor? The 91st floor.
  18. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you were trying to make it appear like you were, before coming back with that response when someone points out your hypocrisy (or how it appears). Either way, bit of a risky thing to write.

  20. What I just posted on N-O when someone said something similar.. Fair enough - didn;t realise those were your fixtures. Still, if you can beat France away you've got to go into each game thinking you can definitely win.
  21. Fantastic win for Scotland - will be great to see them qualify for Euro 2008, which they surely will now. (That said, I bet most of the Scots would have still liked Russia to thrash us tonight )
  22. I'm going to the Arsenal match (should we get tickets) with a mate and his dad who will drive us up there. My mate supports Newcastle, but his dad supports Arsenal. Not sure what's happening about the stands yet, but it will certainly be interesting on the way back. Basically he'll be jeering at us being the most likely outcome.
  23. There was a possible flood of the black sea which became the subject of a Sumerian myth (Gilgamesh) - the jews simply ripped it off (as they did the concept of Satan and other thing). As I said the point is do you want a God who would drown everyone even it is just metaphorical. Can't really answer that question well sadly. Some of the stories such as that of Noah's Ark and the plagues in Egypt from the OT I ask many questions about. It doesn't make me doubt God, but merely question.
  24. Another sensible post from you Yup, I think I'm now approaching double-figures in sensible posts from my 2442 here.
