If Lennon's lack of ability is now widely recognized, I humbly remove him from the list. Berbatov is widely regarded as a far better and more influential player than he actually is (IMHO). Jenas is still considered an England international is he not? If a lot of Spurs fans have seen him for the average-at-best safe-ball-playing waste of space that he is though, then I suppose you can remove him from the list too. I'd probably agree - he's great to watch but isn't world class. He isn't at all prolific when you consider how much people value him, his finishing is inconsistent and not the quickest or strongest. I think it's a shame that Robbie Keane does just as well as him but doesn't receive near as much praise.

If it was by "mutual consent" as we're told, surely that was influenced by Shinawatra saying Sven will leave beforehand.

From what I've seen, best headers around aren't much more than 6 feet. Maybe wrong.

To be fair to Josef Fritzsl, he didn't lock his daughter in his own cellar out of choice. He initially wanted to place her in a cellar beneath Sunderland, but was promptly told all the cellars there were full up.

Thanks for that. Think you got the wrong forum though mate.

So, Habib Beye for our player of the season then? Think he's got a chance judging by those results.

I'd rather have him than Carra and Hyppia. You`re very welcome to him. He couldn`t lace their boots. He's far better than Hyppia at least now tbh I meant "in the day" with Sami because he`our forth choice now. Carra`s still a much better player. Richards is already way better than both. Carra used to be alright, but is now just a whinning cunt. He`ll go to Utd but has a long way to go before being as good as Carra. Whinning has nothing to do with a player`s ability. He has the possibility of being world class...Carra never was, even in his pomp. Skirtel what I've seen so far looks promising. It`ll be Skittles and Agger from now on and Carra at full back or central cover. What people forget about Carra is his versatility and passion..............coupled with his ability and tactical awareness. Fabulous all round player who can cover any defensive position.

Selling Martins for £15m would be great business, IF we get in another pacy striker, who can score goals.

Got back home shortly ago. Thought we were pretty crap, but the result was good. Chanted Nobby's name throughout the match, which was a bit of a laff. Would have been embarassing if he scored though.
-
Ross is a knob though. Ridiculous how much money he gets paid for his crap show with crap guests.
-
Enrique's played well recently and has improved as the season's gone on - in fact I never thought he was too bad in the first place. Still think we need a better left-back if we want a really solid defence next season though.

It's a red-light district isn't it? I'm sure there's lots of places to stay overnight in that case. -
Easily pleased. What a terrible thing to be.
-
aye, very skilled and good under pressure.
-
He isn't really a good player though. It's been pointed out already that he's very limited in terms of what he can do.

I thought Geremi's all round play in the second-half was pretty good when he wasn't taking corners. If you're looking for players who couldn't find black and white shirts all night, look no further than Butt and Barton.

Why are Geordies like this at Anfield?

Got to admit, it does make me proud to think we're the only Premiership team to have beaten Barnsley this season. -

While the dreadful Allardyce "management" did give the players rock bottom confidence, we must remember they must have regained plenty simply by his arrival as that led to the 4-1 win against Stoke, which was a great performance. We've had some really tough games though, so it shows a large amount of blame can still be given to Allardyce for his dreadful results (and performances) in games we should have won or at least drawn. We should have won nearly all of our first 10 games, but we didn't. -
You do raise a point there - was Bramble's overall contribution to the defence actually that bad? He made lots of mistakes, but the same applies to all defenders. Maybe it's just that Bramble's mistakes are so laughable. I'm told statistics show his tackling success rate is superb.
-
Ok, fair enough then. Though I stil remember well the first day and when a large number of the fans (myself included) were getting excited over Allardyce...
-
If we do get relegated... would we be the first team to both go down and be top of the league in one season?

On the other hand, I have unsurprisingly met many a Christian and those I've met seem to have the most respect for other beliefs. Not generalising here (like you aren't I assume), but I've met or witnessed too many atheists who just want to lay into other people's beliefs just for their own or other people's entertainments, as if they're much smarter as they follow reason etc etc. On the other hand I don't see nearly as many Christians looking for a fight over religious beliefs (some exceptions obviously). It's a bit weird if some people are offended by your lack of belief, but that's normally something you can just laugh off (unless I'm mistaken for not understanding the situation right). Christians get incredible amounts of stick nowadays in our secular soicety - just hoping everyone realises that.
