  1. You were given a fucking 45 minute hiding by the best team in the country. Like us last season you'd have done well (and gained some respect) to accept that. Instead all we hear is arrogance about how you played them off the park.... did you fuck! You edged the first half but the best team won in the end by a scoreline that accurately highlighted the differences between you. And that's coming from someone who was happy to see Spurs winning. Why am I not surprised that this one passed by without comment from the chirpy cockney?
  2. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.............someone put this message on the blackburn forum, my god everyone wants you down. come on pompey If you can't see that being a slight on Allardyce based upon his time at NUFC rather than specifically BRFC, then you're a fucking idiot!
  3. Most vital game since the last weekend in April back in 1992.... Who were we playing that day?
  4. Boro are gone IMO. Last relegation place is between us, the Mackems and Hull
  5. The barcode kit had blue trim - flashes on the shorts and all the training gear was in blue. Still had red numbers though.
  6. Should have been "I predict a riot!"
  7. Awesome drive by Jenson today - he won the race, not the team. People will say he only won because Trulli backed the rest of the pack up during the middle stint... but that's racing - Schumacher used to win races exactly the same. I was confident he'd win from the point when he got past Vettel. The race was always between the two of them IMO.
  8. Ah well, it wasn't the most critical game of the weekend. Mackems, Boro & Hull lost. That's good enough for us (so long as we win!)
  9. Noted, but they're still considered a yo-yo club and I think we would be the same - promoted one season, relegated the next. Only way clubs stay up is if there is serious investment to create a squad that can sustain premiership survival. As for the 'year of going to new places renewing optimism', surely you remember that was the attitude back in the summer of 1989? Only for it to go sadly wrong when we didn't get straight back up.
  10. Why did you install so many in the first place?? Went on an installing spree (AVG, IE 8, Firefox 3 etc) last night and subsequently got a few new toolbars. I bet your event log suggests otherwise with regards to that timescale...

  12. Now that would be classic. Hope to see them in the Football League soon. How poetic would it be for those fans who stayed loyal to their roots and supported AFC instead of defecting with the old club. FWIW, I believe that not many kept allegience with the team now known as MK Dons - most of their fans are from Milton Keynes. Be one hell of a match though. Imagine the fan rivalry! It would be like us moving 35 miles south and starting a new team in Boro. I couldn't support them and would support a splitter group simialr to AFC Wimbledon. I hope they do well though, as they are obviously the real continuity of Wimbledon FC unlike MK Dons who are just a franchise really. Yeah AFC Wimbledon are in the Conference proper now. MK Dons look like they're going to be in the playoffs at least in League 1, which could mean they're playing Championship football next year... which will be a fucking travesty. The step from Blue Square South (or North) to Conference proper is massive though, there are some big clubs in that league. Oxford, York, Wrexham amongst others. Many of those clubs are fully professional and have the benefits on the pitch that come with that status. AFC have to sign a few players, loan a few players and just guarantee survival, then next year look to go professional. I've not met a single MK Dons fan in London so I'd guess most of their support comes from Milton Keynes. There's a lot of ill-feeling towards that club from the Wimbledon fans that I know and have subsequently met, but they have their priorities in order. AFC Wimbledon comes first and foremost, then they cheer the results of their counterparts. 21 years ago, one of the FA Cup Semi Finals was between Wimbledon(*) & Luton. Now both clubs are in the Conference - shows how football can turn around inside a generation yet some clubs think they have the god given right to be in the top league in the country. I don't count us as one of those clubs - we'd accept relegation seeing as a lot of us have experienced it before. There's a lot of teams in the Premiership who do think like that though. * - I know MK Dons is what Wimbledon FC was, but I've never accepted that. WFC became AFC Wimbledon and a new team was formed in Milton Keynes IMO.
  13. Keeps us if we stay up... sells us if we go down! Really has the club's best interests at heart, doesn't he? Sure you're not confusuing that with your pocket Mike?
  14. Vettel vs Button is echoes of Schumacher vs Hill. The season is long, but I think those two are in in the shout for the WDC. Would love it to be Button, but Vettel is immense.

  16. Where does that put Wimbledon now Fish, in the Conference? Would love to see them in the same division as MK Dons tbh.
  17. Why did you install any in the first place?? FYP
  18. Imagine them 2 in the dugout next season and Craig Bellamy walks past....
  19. It's all relative Tom.... And they've been tonked by 5 second half goals. Almost as bad as us when we played them last season
  20. I'm exactly the inverse. Nothing to do with your g/f? Nope - well pre-dates that. I'm indifferent about Liverpool, I HATE Man United. And it's always been like that.
