So it's the blue that's being used on the collar of the home kit? I reckon it IS going to be like that Ajax kit but the inverse colours - i.e. predominately the lighter blue with the dark blue used in the socks turn-over as the contrast. Bizza? MattM4?? Reckon you can do a mock up?

Ok so 10am Wednesday has come and gone and no update on .co.uk .... Good work lads
-
A Craig Bellamy thread invoking debate? Well I never....... He left 2 years ago now - we shouldn't even be talking about him anymore. And I'm pretty sure he won't come back.

"oo-er missus" and all that. I've never been brave enough to actually ask him what he means by 'friction' but I'm presuming it's hair gel. A quid for a scoop of the stuff he's bought down the cash and carry for 50p a tub? No ta!

Fuck's sake, it took me a good few minutes to get that one!
-
Sounds like a plan - Pompey's not far away either Steve. Which hosptial you working in down there? St Mary's?? QA??
-
I pay £7 for mine and considering that's within the M25, I don't think I can complain. He charges £1 for 'friction' though

It's a fucking close contest..... How many times have you referred to a footballer by their first name who you haven't even met Scott?
-
I've met Nigel Mansell more times than I've met you gonadhead!
-
Do you want me to start referring to you as 'Robinson'?? I bet that's the norm in your office isn't it?? "Robinson!! Bring me a coffee pronto!!!"
-
30 notes on a hair cut?? that's about £2 per hair on your bonce.....
-
What's your take on highlights?

The Fish can recommend you some shampoo... and a portion of denial too.

SLP will have your balls on a skewer for that line....

Thankfully have never set foot in the place but seen a few winos amble out of there mid afternoon and fall onto a bus!

I remember the first race at Indy, they showed an American news reel when they said something like "Mike Schumacher leads the Formula One world series" They wouldn't dare call it a 'championship' because that would belittle the CART series

Remember the 'dark' Eldon Square and seem to remember there was a massive hoo-har when they lightened it up at the area outside Boots, Bainbridges, Burtons etc. The Bus Concourse - oh my word that thing was horrific, you could feel the fumes coming up the escalators outside Bainbridges. Is that still as bad as ever?

Thank fuck for that. My Mam used to work over at Northumbria University and if I was ever in town meeting her for lunch I used to walk up past the library and over those concrete walkways. Awful, awful shitty hole it was. What gets me is all the people who used to say the Wills factory was a hole. That place had character IMO and I think they've done an awesome job of converting it. I don't recall anyone saying the Will's building was a hole like. It's always been an amazing building. Difficult to imagine a time when management provided the work force with a full scale theatre! I remember when it was derelict there was a movement to get it pulled down. Awesome building though.

tbh if I was Sheff United. I'd be distancing myself from Liverpool for the very fact that: 1. Javier Mascherano is now a Liverpool player. 2. They're very keen on signing Tevez. They have more than a passing interesting in this - surprised they're getting involved for their own reputation too.

Speaking of those cross roads, has the Odeon building gone? It was always a mess when it was in use but last summer it just looked like a fucking hovel.

Wasn't a 'team' order, it was a pact that Hakkinen and Coulthard had made prior to the race in that should they be 1st and 2nd after the last pit stops, the one who got to the first corner first would win the race and the other would yield if he was ahead. DC honoured his promise. Ron Dennis knew absolutely nothing about it and told the press to take it up with the drivers rather than him. Different from the Ferrari carry on in Austria a few years later. Correct. Mansel was on TALKsport this morning and said if he had been Alonso he would have had something in his contract that said he was the No 1 Driver and the team should revolve around him. Trust Nigel to come out with that Awesome 'fly by the seat of his pants' driver but an absolute cunt when it come to contracts. Ever wonder why he never lasted more than 2 races at McLaren? Nowt to do with him not fitting in the car, they changed that at vast expense to the team. It's because they wouldn't bow down to his no.1 driver status. In short, if you want to be a No.1 driver and have a team revolve around you, you don't drive for McLaren. Ron is interested in the constructor's title first and foremost. He sees the driver's title as an added bonus - NOT the other way round.

No chance. He knew his game was up when Alonso beat him to two WDCs. I can't see Michael getting back behind the wheel. What i can see is him getting more involved on the management side of things and not with Ferrari. I bet you a Sima or Steivieintoon ISP ban!! Go on, I dares ya Done! (it won't happen).
