  1. Given our squad state, it's not the worst side but that defence needs to prove all of us wrong. It's great to see Longy getting the armband on his 150th appearance
  2. If we're still talking about jacked up juicers, it's important to look at the time frame between these transformations. While they all look to be an attainable athletic physique. You need to weight train to achieve them so any amount of cardio is not suddenly going to grow you muscle. Hard, consistent work will build muscle. Those like Goretzka and Bale have taken place over such a short space of time though and gained so much lean mass that they look suspicious. HGH, TRT, Peptides etc Ronaldo seems to have developed his physique over years of training so I do think he is natty.
  3. As long as @Dr Gloomdoesn't go to the match we should be ok.. Our lot will be pumped to sink these fuckers and they'll just go through the motions of another loss......hopefully.
  4. I was going to steal this thread just to not threaten your record HM. News is Man Utd have spoken to De Zerbi. Sounds like Ten Hag has been given that vote of confidence. He might have no choice but to put out his best side to save his skin.
  5. I've just watched The Reckoning, and I've realised that Coogans characters stray into Saville territory more than I've ever realised before. Sometimes I could see clear Partridge in his Saville imitation whilst remaining true to the sexualised monster he was imitating.
  6. I'll give Trips a rare day off, given how consistent and reliable he usually is. By some distance, our best recruitment since the takeover. Elite level player who brings everyone else's game up.
  7. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/67258487 Wishing Bas Dost all the best here. Will always be a part of NUFC history, despite never playing for us.
  8. Ritchie to teach them a lesson in the week.
  9. Neves would be ideal. He's basically a signing made for maximum shithousing.
  10. Lots of infighting here today. We've got 6 first teamers out injured and we are playing twice a week. Players will blow hot and cold depending on what they're up against. Almiron and Gordon have been excellent at times this season, Gordon more often but they've both had valuable contributions.
  11. Does Eddie trust Tino and Lewis when it's tight like this? Is he protecting them in case they have a shitter? You don't pay good money then keep them on the bench
  12. Bench full of fullbacks and goalies. Hopefully we score early then we can just pack defence on top of each other.
  13. I'm sat on a sunbed in Cape Verde, knowing there's a sizeable contingent from Wolverhampton who have arrived on the Birmingham flight. I hope we polish them off so I can see their miserable faces at the dinner hall later this evening. I'll be watching.
  14. He's a pro athlete, he trains every day for years and he has the best coaches and nutritionalists. That's a physically natural attainable body given what he has access to. He's not pouching takeaways and 10 pints of lager every weekend.
  15. Yeah I'm not a fan of Ronaldo and his lack of leadership as a senior pro seems to have had some bearing on Man Utds plight. He could have done with a leaf out of Trippier book. His otherwise professional approach to keep himself in such shape at his age is an example to the kids just starting out.
  16. Well we can't say we didn't give them a game. They had the rub first half, we deserved to get something from it. Wilson short of opportunities. I'd have liked to have seen us test the keeper a bit more but credit to their defence. Hopefully get a better referee and turn them over at their place.
  17. I had him down as a complete flop, couldn't make a good decision and generally had no faith in him. He's completely changed my opinion of him in 12 months. It's testament to the coaching but more so it's full credit to him for backing himself, digging in against the criticism and working hard.
  18. In hindsight, you could say it looks that way. Both Lyon and Sociedad are very good clubs but they're not great clubs like AC is. Neither Bruno or Isak were boyhood fans who came through their system either.
  19. Ridiculously quick. Unless they've had all the evidence to go and he's just played supergrass to blow the lid on the wider problem to get a lesser sentence.
