  1. I wish Sky would fuck off, there would be absolutely no chat about our game if it was reversed. Man Utd and Liverpool could be playing in League one and I bet they'd still cover them.
  2. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c99rkjjk2r4o Absolute fucking scum.
  3. I think most of us could go back into our posts and see how much criticism we gave him when he came. It must be have been a sliding doors moment for him when EH came in. His value and profile has rocketed ever since due to his application and ability. He could have left here an abject failure. Hope we see his best years at SJP.
  4. Yeah you are blind to the fact that he's been far more effective than our captain has the last few games.
  5. Hall has been ok, but he's given the ball away a few times due to his passing. He needs to make sure if he's playing it out, he's making the pass stick. I'd rather see him play the pass safe back to the CB as Krafth has been doing rather than losing it in midfield. Player of the half - Longy.
  6. Our press has been decent. Got pace from Gordon Willock and Isak up front, Joelinton joining in on the left. Kelly has been decent too as he's got pace to get involved in midfield as well as tracking back.
  7. Interesting selection..Bruno has been pretty shite so it'll be interesting to see Ciggy come in for him and given he's the sub for Sandro, Tonali might get a full game. Willock needs game time and Kelly should provide a bit of pace.
  8. I'd agree he's done very well and that the project has stalled significantly before it's completion but I can't agree with the description of the personnel. Eddie brought all these lads in - Pope, Tino & Hall at significant cost to the budget. Only a few months ago we were lauding these as the future of England and now we are saying they're not good enough. We've seen them play FAR better than they currently are, save for Hall whose performances have stood out amongst the mediocrity of late. Our midfield 3 should on paper, be one of the best in the league. Isak is being touted for Arsenal and Barnes and Gordon are good enough for most teams pushing for Europe. I know BDB has had games where he has been a real force, but I think him and Schar as a pair are too slow and it should be one or the other, but unfortunately we don't have that luxury. I think the defence is key to our way of playing and without it we are exposed as they were yesterday. The PL rules have assisted in causing this strorm, and I think our rapid progress in season 2 has meant a sizeable section of fan base has unrealistic expectations now or what we are capable of. We've spent a shit load but that was due to years of mis management to get some decent players in. There's always going to be crictism of managers when things aren't quite going right, but I think we need to keep the faith and without tempting fate, "stick with the plan" and "trust the process". I'm hoping these PL rules are exposed for what they are and the Saudis can start spending the money they have.
  9. I still don't think our best players are consistent enough. There's the call that we must get European competition so that these players stay but I don't see them making significant contributions to ensure that we get the results to keep them here.
  10. He blows hot and cold. I think we could say the same about Isak with that.
  11. I dont think Tonali has done much to be honest. He was better against Brighton and was undeservedly subbed. Hes been pretty anonymous today.
  12. You forgot about the one from Des Hamilton, just to be sure.
  13. Massively frustrating. I don't know how we lost that given they did nothing except for the goal. I know we tried to change formations later in the second half but it probably just disrupted us more. Hall was a class act and Burn after his card was colossal. None of the subs were effective, Barnes probably the best of them but Miggy looked like he'd never played in the team before.
  14. Rare chance of a ticket today, so I'm hoping for a win. 2-0 Isak & Wilson double bluff sub after a turgid first half.
  15. Only saw the last 20 minutes due to work but it looked like we were well in control, they weren't interested in coming over half way and we couldn't seem to do anything in the final third. We tried that pass in wide left a number of times with different players but I think they were nearly always off side.
  16. 2 keepers on the bench? Thought they might be better off giving the youth experience to join the seniors.
  17. I think we've done ok despite going behind. Just typical that Gvardiol has a poor game and then scores.
  18. Technically none of these players ever played for AFC Wimbledon, they played for what is now, MK Dons.
  19. Its absolutely frustrating as a fan but I can imagine Wilson himself must be at a pretty low ebb to keep picking up injuries like this. Callum has that attitude which makes him want to be starting and being top scorer so I don't think he's shirking by any stretch. He must wonder what he's done to get such a shit hand.
  20. You may be right, and if that's the case, I'm sure Eddie deep down knows which option is best. Im absolutely certain that due to his professionalism whatever he says in pressers might be completely different to reality. Trips' life has been turned upside down by his behaviour so there's obviously a lot going on. I think Krafth has been tremendous as Schars stand in, given he's not a CB. His game has definitely improved whilst he's been here and he's a versatile squad member.
