I know Wilson has had injury after injury these last 18 months, but it does feel like a sliding doors moment of him leaving to get first team football because he can't dislodge 14 (the new reference until that number is filled) and then 14 leaves which meant Wilson, if fit could have probably found himself featuring in a lot more games. It'll be just our luck he stays fit most of the season and gets at least 10 for WHU, if not more.

I know we keep saying Gordon can fill in up front, but it doesn't fill me with confidence and I don't imagine defences fear him. With Afcon, Woltemade is going to have to do it.

If we don't see an out and out striker coming in today (at least one) then the club and Isak is hanging Eddie out to dry.
