When I was applying for graduate jobs I passed 3 interviews and went to 3 assessment centres. They're horrible, you basically spend the whole day doing role play and playing silly 'thinking' games. We spent about an hour playing a game where you pull 2 random words out of a hat and you have to tell a story for something like 3 minutes without any pauses about those words. On one of mine I was doing role play and ended up falling out with the assessor (whilst not in character!) so the writing was on the wall!

I now work for a massive integrated services/compliance services provider. We previously were the biggest fixed installation inspection and testing company in the country but have now been acquiried by those in the red vans.

Our firm has just been take over. We had an amusing David Brent style 'your jobs are safe' speech from our MD and the MD of the new firm. That was topped today when our Chairman announced 'some of you will lose your jobs'. Fucking brilliant, best not be me. They'd best not relocate us either, this firm is based in Exeter!!

Reading that you can't help but sympathise. I do belive he has the best interests of the club at heart - as did Freddy Shepherd - but thats a totally different thing to managing it. As others have said, its brilliant basing ourselves on Arsenal as a sustainable mode. BUT, at Arsenal his scouts and Director of Football (name escapes me, or did he leave recently?) recommend players to him as they should do. Our scouts and Director were on a different wavelength to KK and just did their own thing.
