Almost every footballer that plays the game misses out on the World Cup. It's hardly a fair means by which to judge a career. And a lot of shit ones manage to forge a career on being a 'World Cup winner', eg Stephane Guivarch, Roque Junior, Kleberson etc.

Weeks?! He doesn't sign for another 6 months, then it'll be 'Beckham flies over', 'Beckham debut' etc etc.

I must say many people have gone wrong with over cheesing this dish. Over cheesing isnt a crime. Under cheesed pasta is though. Cheese is one of my downfalls I think. I'm convinced I should have been born somewhere in the Med as I could quite happily live on crusty bread, cheese, tomatoes and red wine. Oh yes. A funny thing from a little while ago: I was out in town and got chatted up by this bloke who seemed canny enough, if a little odd. We were nattering away and got talking about restaurants or something and he declared that he never set foot in Italian restaurants because he was allergic to cheese and had an irrational hatred of garlic. Can you imagine?! Didn't spend too much more time chatting. Why is it I always get stuck with the weird ones...? Unlucky! My housemate is addicted to garlic, he puts it in literally everything. He has both garlic cloves and garlic powder and he'll stick in sandwiches, on top of things like beans on toast - anything. Doesn't smell for some reason though, infact I heard something the other day that the more garlic you eat, the less you smell.

Ahh yes the workhouse, that would sort them out in no time.

2 slices of white bread, loads of butter, entire tin of beans, lots of grated cheese. Lush. Had scrambled eggs on toast for lunch today though, that was well nice.

The game is called Associated Football, we invented it, so fucking follow the lead. Personally I think you clearly don't like the bloke, and it's coming across in everything you've got to say about him. I think he's one of the few of the recent England crop that's been genuinely proud to play for and captain his country, and with the exception of that one bottled challenge against Brazil, he's always done his best for them. Won plenty of trophies at Man United an'all. There's plenty players would fucking LOVE to look back on a career like David Beckham's, and yet you think he should look back with embarrassment on it?! Beckham is a posing tosser and the way he goes about gets on my tits, but theres no denying he's been a class footballer. Not seen much of him at Madrid really, but at Man Utd he was superb. I remember specifically the season Van Nistelrooy scored about 40, Beckham put pretty much each goal on a plate for him. I'd certainly never accuse him of not trying for England, think he was as passionate as he could have been. Gemmill just fancies him though.

Five year contract like, but a move over there, with all due respect, is an end of career holiday like many others have done in Japan, Qatar etc. Has he not got enough money? Footballing ambition not important anymore?
