I think the most important thing we're all missing here is that world class players aren't always necessary if you want to actually win something. You need a world class TEAM. Look at Greece, Porto and Liverpool. Real Madrid are full of world class players, but as a team they are not as good as they should be. The team MUST come before profile and ego. I think you need a balance, some quiet guys, not just the most famous 11 players in each position. A strong work ethic and team spirit are more important IMO than flair in each postion. I think with hindsight it was wrong to make Beckham captain. I'm sure Sven realised it would raise the profile of the team and therefore his salary, but what DB offers is not what Tony Adams offered. Beckham is not a captain nor is he a central play maker. He is a world class winger. Until those blindingly obvious points are addressed we're not likely to win much.

I need to make a website where people can download mp3s for work. I don't need any animation and I'm quite good at the design part. Is there a simple program for making a basic website that anyone can recommend? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Maybe the point is that Beckham is a world class winger. When he plays in the centre (as he seems to have done for England for far too long) he is a bit oridinary.

Owen, Roooooneeeey, Lampard and Gerrard are world class. Beckham, Ferdinand, Campbell and Terry aren't too shabby either. EDIT: I thought Luke Young had a good game.

Alreetlike, Is there a layman's program you could recommend for making a website? I have a mate who'll let me have some webspace on his server but I need to make the site myself. Nothing too flash just a place people can download mp3s and maybe some pics. The design part I can do myself as I did it for A level. Any advice would be well appreciated

I can't say if that's true as I don't know, but Sky has a subscription fee. Also the licence fee is supplemented by more DVD and merchandising sales surely? I love the BBC though. I'll support the licence fee because it stops lowest common denominator (ie profit) dictating what we see.
