I'm intrigued about that myself, to see what happens this season under Big Sam. Because i agree with you he had amazing stamina and energy and could run up and down the pitch all day, but after his great start last season he slumped and didn't look to have the same energy he used to.

I'd hoped annually retentitive was going to mark the death knell for the poorer ones. HIGNFY and QI are the only ones I can get away with personally. The Thick Of It and Peep Show shit on them all though. Can't believe i forgot QI as it is the daddy of them all these days! I am a fan of Peep Show but it'll be a long while till theres another series of that on TV, if at all, so wasn't counting it with current comedy. Or had i just carelessly forgotten about it!!!

More pre-prepared i'd say. Like alot of these programmes they'll have an idea of what's coming so they can have a few lines ready and anyway its a programme that reguarly gives them the chance to use their stand up material (one round actually asks them to!) so they will seem quite slick as its stuff they do every night. I'd say the only ones possibly close to being scripted are the voiceover ones when they've blatantly seen it before as the timing is spot on and it couldn't be on a first go. And the round where Frankies says one thing and Hugh Dennis says what he really means, i think Hugh is already aware of what Frankie will be saying. Don't know why i particularly posted any of that as its not remotely interesting, but we're trying to post more on here to keep it going aren't we!

I'm a fan of Mock the Week and especially Frankie Boyle who is always class on it. As Fish said these days about the only decent British Comedy being produced is these sorts of panel shows like HIGNFY, MTW, EOOTC and Never mind the buzzcocks as well.

Exactly, in terms of the current transfer market £2m isn't worht thinking about. Also he seems to have got over alot of his injury problems so i'm buggered if we're going to finally sort that out and let somebody else have him play all the time! Plus i want to see what Big Sam can get out of him as a player. And as people have said we would then have to find another player to replace him and he is one of the few players with pace in our midfield/attack.

Nothing against the lad personally, but any misfortune to happen to the cheating cockneys who should be in the championship is all good.

I think 4-4-2 is the most likely as well with the big/little combo up front and i'm happy enough with that. But if he's adaptable and maybe changes thing/mixes it up a bit for different teams and situations we'll see how it goes. I think Shola will have a canny season as well to be honest, first time injury free in years and in a team without a clueless fuckwitt in charge for the first time in ages, should benefit all the strikers.

To be fair i don't think Owen neccesarilly will look massively interested all of the time (at any of his clubs) during a match and then suddenly he's scored a goal. Strikers can at times seem like that. And he did indeed score! I agree, apart from in the case of Shola, as this theory goes against my agenda. Well he scored two goals, so he's twice as interested as Owen was!

What are we supposed to do? Randomly donate resources to clubs we have nothing to do with? We're not fucking Oxfam. Thats not the point though, he made him and the club look like right pricks nationwide. Exactly, even if that is his opinion he could have kept it to himself and not made us look like pricks. Plenty of other chairman would no doubt have cared as little as him but they didn't bang on about it.

Jesus christ, one minor friendly (the first chance to play any form of football in ages) and already the two strikers don't care and werent trying!!! Could it possibly be they were just poor, lacking fitness, sharpness or maybe not quite ready to play at their very best for 90 mins! I love how much fans can read into the tiniest thing players do.

Do I win a Dusty Bin if I get it? If those four arseholes could get in deep shit without it affecting the club it would be fantastic, if something they did affected our club then i'd hope each one of them was hunted down and had the living shit kicked out of them! Whoever "they" may be

Of course the two problems with that are, first that we aren't from London and so not allowed to get away with that shit, and second after the stick they've taken for letting the cockney cheats off they'll be looking to Hammer (pun intended!) the next offenders, if its serious, to avoid the same shit!

To be fair whilst he won't be coming here, i don't think it can ruled out completely that we didn't ask. Just a cheeky little try, see what they said and indeed what he said. Maybe we didn't but there's no harm in asking! As for Ronaldiho, i think we'll probably wait till January before signing him once we've settled into the new regime and all that.

I agree, unless Zog makes it clear he doesn't want to be here and isn't committed in which case he will have to let him go. But hopefully its just paper talk and Big Sam will have/will be about to have a talk with Zog and sort things out.

You don't need to seperate them at all, complete twats can produce great music and really good people can churn out shite, i don't care at all about somebodies personality when i listen to their music, i only care about the music. As an example a group like the Stone Roses would get on my tits for being arrogant and acting like they ruled the world and Ian Brown could be really annoying, but i'm a big fan of their music because of how good it is. Whereas i'm sure Cliff Richard is a decent bloke but i'm not listening t the shite he releases!

It does say alot about the state of this country when a prick like him acting like a twat is frontpage news time and time again! Even if he had a back catalogue of fantastic music and was a genuinely talented rock legend there's be no need to have blanket coverage of him, but when he's pretty much a talentless gimp it defies belief the media devote so much time to him.

Listened to the libertines albums and at best they were mediocre, Docherty is a smackhead twat and a waste of oxygen and the way some people hold him up as a musical genuis is a complete joke. Haven't listened to the other two bands in question but nearly everytime i see a review of/hear from people who have seen Babyshambles live then the name should be changed to Fucking shambles by all accounts.
