  12. Blackburn are a small town club trying to play with the big boys, they will never ever have 52k fans at each home game and they will never win anything with a bunch of fuck ups. At least we are ambitious about winning a cup and we have more chance than you, so go away and shove your head up your arse u cockroach.
  13. Thats the good part, they think we have him, but we dont so lets hope it stays that way.

    Keegan

A close friend of myn said he seen Keegan in Newcastle about three days ago. He also said he has a feeling that a Shearer/Keegan partnership might be on the cards. In my opinion thats never going to happen, but i wouldn't mind if it did. What do you guys think of it? Good move or Bad move.
  15. Want: Anyone Wont Get: Anyone
  16. all the papers seem to be suggesting that the job is there for Redknapp to take, most saying that he is one of Ashley's favorite managers.
  17. Tbh Boro are in need of a striker, since the start of the window they have been linked with Afonso Alves, Shola Ameobi and now Fred, they might as well go for Ronaldinho again.
  18. Wouldn't swap because I think Martins still has a lot to give and ones he gets his form back he will be an important player for us come the end of this season. Dont think Villa want him either, pure speculation.
  19. Joey Barton will not play for Newcastle until 16th January at the earliest, according to the therapist treating the midfielder. The player is currently residing at the Sporting Chance Clinic in Hampshire, after being released from prison, where he had been remanded after being charged with assault after a night out in Liverpool. Peter Kay, the therapist treating Barton, has said his patient will not be available to Sam Allardyce until his next court appearance in Liverpool on 16th January. "Until the 16th of January, Joey will be with me 24 hours a day," Kay told The Guardian. "As for him playing, it will not be happening in the near future. There are bail guidelines we are adhering to and we're concentrating on the work we need to do, which is going well." Newcastle have been keen to keep Barton fit within the confines of his bail conditions but Kay insists the player's mental rather than physical health is his immediate concern. He added: "We do not play keepy-uppy in the garden; we do work of a different nature. "We are getting on with the work we need to do, which is separate from football, and I could not hope for anything better than what is happening."
  20. Shay Given insists Newcastle United's players have to take responsibility for manager Sam Allardyce being under pressure. Allardyce is again feeling the heat at St James' Park after failing to win over the Christmas period following an indifferent start to his reign on Tyneside. The Magpies avoided an FA Cup upset at Stoke City on Sunday and Given was delighted to disappoint the critics baying for blood. And the Newcastle keeper says the reason why Allardyce's position has come under scrutiny is because the players have not performed. "We as players have to stand up and be counted because the only reason the manager is under pressure is that we are under-performing," Given told The Journal. "We've got to put that right, stick together and start playing better. "As I've said before, the manager doesn't cross the line, it's up to the players. The team he picks has to start performing for Newcastle United." Reflecting on the 0-0 draw at Championship side Stoke, Given felt the Magpies showed the right spirit to avoid being the victims of a shock. He added: "We're delighted to disappoint everyone who wanted us to fall flat on our faces. "People wanted us to fail so they could have another go at the manager, but we avoided becoming the upset they all wanted. "We stuck together and we knew what to expect from Stoke."
