Perspective from someone watching from Australia here; Watched the game with keen interest purely for this 60-69. The frenzy prior to the first walkout by the crowd was very audible as opposed to the eery quiet from the crowd in the first half. It was very noticable and the commentators alluded to it. Anti Pardew and Ashley chants were very noticeable and frankly quite clear for all to hear. Cameras panned to the banners around the ground, unfortunately for the most part when they did they weren't unfulred properly, but at least there were no spelling errors on any of them. Unfortunately it looked as though people were heading to the toilet for the first walkout, but the 69th minute walkout drew quite a serious alert to and response. Not sure Ashley would even bat an eyelid to it, I suspect not, but at least it has gained attention to the broader media (outside of Newcastle).

And I stand by it. A majority French squad in the PL managed by a Brit is a recipe for a fuck up.

Silly reply. The makeup of the squad and how successful it is is dependable on the manager. Pardew did OK for a short time but couldn't sustain it because he relied on one player to virtually carry the side. Ashley will continue on with a British manager if Pardew is punted - Bruce or Moyes. None of them can manage a team dominated by continental Europeans, British managers aren't canny enough to do it with the exception to the rule being Brendan Rodgers who was schooled by a continental manager. Looks as though fat Ashley has seen the light.

I understand that that is Graham Carr's area of expertise and it will be most logical that players will be signed from there, I'm just making the point that filling the squad with so many players of French decent is a recipe for disaster - if not in the shorter term then most certainly mid to long. I'm at the point right now where I'd be more than happy to see Moyes become the next manager. At least Moyes has a history of buying and developing decent British players to play in the first team at Everton in his time there. That is what Newcastle desperately needs right now.

That's my point - we need more decent British players in the squad. Gosling, Taylor and Shola should be pissed off immediately. Williamson and Elliot are decent sqaud players and should be retained particualrly if there aren't the funds available to replace them on top of the others who hopefully will leave and of course those who have already left the club or about to (Cabaye, Collocinni and Remy). In a perfect world with a decent transfer kitty I'd sell Obertan, Marveaux, Yanga-Mbiwa, Santon, Debuchy and Cisse too,

Jack Colback is a good player - better than any midfielder at the club at the moment. Plus he's English, I don't give a fuck where he was born. Need more British players in the team and less Frenchies who tend to bottle it when the going gets tough in football and during wartime.

The Chinese are looking in the wrong place using technology that is about 20 years behind America's. Why the Chinese sought fit to start looking in the area on their own is a mystery and has sinister overtones if they are proved to be correct. But to make this bold and premature announcement about their 'great discovery' on their state television network is embarrassing for them. They think that this is some kind of race and whoever finds the blackbox can claim some kind of superiority over everyone else who is looking. Childish behaviour. They will be a serious danger to the world in 10 years time or so when their power projection capabiltiies improve that will cover territorial disputes they have with all their neighbours in the region. But back to this Chinese 'discovery' - I am looking forward to the excuses they make in an attempt to save face when they realise that what they have detected is not the blackbox at all and they are not superior as the Chinese population think they are.

I have no doubt his intent was to be a shock jock. I also have no doubt that he was true to his convictions. Unfortunately for him he underestimated the reaction of Americans to give a fuck abvout his English thought processes.

Can honestly say I've never watched him while on CNN. In fact, he only gained my serious attention during the Ashes series where he became overly mouthy about England's chances before it and then for their ineptitude during it. Don't know too much about him, but I don't disagree with your sentiments. I do recall the death threats and general ill-will directed to him on Twitter by Americans after tackling US gun laws on his show. He does have guts if nothing else.

The sense of entitlement to own a gun is too great in America. The NRA are a lobby group that will not tolerate being fucked around with. Things will never change. It's like trying to ban football in England. Piers Morgan tried to tackle the issue head on with his show on CNN and he and his show has been shafted and he is long forgotten over there.

Got to wait for the Republicans to gain power in America again before these Rusky cunts are put back in their place again.

North Korea and that region (Northern Asia) is the most observed territorial area in the world. It's not like relying on shit radar systems from Malaysia or Thailand in South-East Asia which is why there hasn't been a resolution to this mystery. Had it flown in or around North Korea it would have been detected immediately or soon after. Japan have high tech spy satellites watching closely - an ability to watch both in day and night. We all know (or presume) the greater capabilities that America possesses in this area too. And South Korea would know anything that comes and goes from North Korea. They'd know if a four foot missile has launched so detecting a Boeing 777 entering that airspace would not go unnoticed. Character checks on all passengers have cleared them as suspected hijackers - all except the Russians and Ukranians - but why would they want to involve themselves? There is nothing sinister going on here.
