I think he's decided to talk shite since the press print it anyway.

Text yer mate back and ask him which fookin' rag.

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/foot...rticle16801.ece Some fantastic stuff by Rob Shepherd again. I especially like the "Reports that Newcastle are offering the England international a £140,000-a-week deal are grossly inaccurate" bit. It was your sister 'paper who madethe fucking thing up!

I actually agree with Leazes

What is he decent at though? I'll give you he works hard, which is something I do admire him for as anyone who grafts for the shirt I will have time for. But apart from that what is there? Theres plenty there for a lad with a lot of time to develop in my opinion. He's not the fastest but I would say he has decent pace, a decent mind for the game, good temperament, he knows when to hold it up and plays some decent balls. His final ball has improved but he only needs to improve his consistency to top it off. I think Sir Bobby saw a decent player in Milner and he will develop. Theres a reason why Aston Villa bid £9m and there is a reason it was refused. When did that happen like? I hate it when we counter and the ball goes to Milner as I know it's going to ruin any potential attacking threat we have. About 2 weeks ago. It was £9.5m IIRC. If it's more than paper talk and we've turned a bid of that amount down then whoever made the decision is clearly wrong in the head.

Am I right in thinking it was the 01/02 season against Derby in very similar circumstances to this? Ravinelli took it, Given saved and we won 1-0.
-
I don't rate Milner that highly, like. Along with Taylor and Butt he's probably one of the players we need to replace if we want to get to the next level.
-
Que?
-
2-0, but only if we get an early goal.
-
Taylor is average - he's no world beater but he's better than Titus Bramble. Still, I hate the way he goes on with the crowd and in the Ronny Gill. He believes he's this link between the fans and the players but he's not, as shown by the contract debacle. He's a typical player. Anyway, Senderos. A few Arsenal fans i've spoke to seem to rate him and that he'll do a job for us. I've never seen enough for him so I can't say how good he is.

Good squad player, nowt more.
-
Keane to play him like Father Jack?
-
The only logical answer (I hope) is that we have other irons in the fire.
-
The problem is they're signing well known players for once, even though they're only going to improve their squad marginally. They've never went for players that people have actually heard of before so it's no surprise they're getting over excited. Christ, I even had one lad seriously try and tell me that Cisse was a better player than Martins, Viduka and Owen I've also heard a lot of them say that the lads they've signed would walk into our side but apart from Malbranque none of the players they've bought this summer would get into our starting XI. They're improving, no doubt about it, but they're ridiculously delusional about what they can achieve with a side full of midtable Premiership cloggers and Keane's quetsionable tactics. It'll be closer this year and I think both our sides will threaten the top half but some people on Wearside are going to be disappointed when they're not 5th in May.

"United" fan trying to defend all the glory supporters they get

I think we may have discovered the whereabouts of HTT... always knew he was a fucking splitter Can't be. Nee fucking sharks. -
I do think it's worth our while making a move for Arshavin while working on our other targets. The transfer window is closing quickly and a "Take it or leave it" offer a few million below the asking price will get Zenit's arse twitching. There's no way they're going to be able to get as much for him again once the memories of his performance at '08 fade away so I think in the end they'd give in. He clearly just wants a lucrative move away from the club too.
-
Because he's fucking shit?
-
He's picking people on reputation again rather than performances in the league, hence the reason for the likes of Young and Agbonglahor being left out. Watch Bentley get straight into the side over the next few months because he's playing for Spuds.

Speaking of which, I was amazed to find them all still online http://www.baddielandskinner.com/podcast/previous.php They were brilliantly funny

Didn't Coloccini say he didn't want to leave a few days before we were interested, then he wanted to buy out his contract?

No one wants him to break a leg, but it's pretty fucking inevitable.

I'm sure he gave an interview recently where he said his bones were very brittle and they'd never be as strong as they once were. Would be quality if he broke it playing against us (harsh I know, but fair). The Mackems would be gutted. They've already got him and Diouf scoring a hat trick each against us followed by a pitch invasion and riots on Tyneside
