she didn't go to bed at 9 though did she? daft twat not reading threads properly again the point was, she goes to bed early from my point of view, i.e. 10pm, so sometimes if I don't get in till 9 or 10 and see no sign of life, there is the doubt in my mind as to whether she's in and gone to bed, or out on the lash. Fucknows why I'm explaining it for you, you still won't get it no doubt You mad cap crazy kid, you! What a fucking hell raiser

It's medium I'd say, but in all honesty don't you think there's a welsh ring to Geordie sometimes? I know what you're saying, there's a certain "sing-song" quality to the Geordie accent. Ours is one of the few that goes up then drops, just before the end of a sentence. Got to say the accents that grates most are the Charver/Ned/pikey/chav accents. Awful English, that nasal sneer and of course the ubiquitous swear word... I hate that some of the lads I went to school with speak like this. It makes going for a pint with them nigh on unbearable. Well, that and their need to drone on about where they went out on friday night, who they had a fight with, who's lass is sleeping around and what drugs they took.

if you think slow accents sound thick, why do you think the Geordie accent sounds thick? same criteria or different reason? it's just that, I always thought the Geordie accent was pretty fast.

always confused me about Oakland Raiders, all their fans are white... I thought Oakland was a predominantly black area?

It's true that it should flow but I like to use words I know it depends on how I'm feeling be it sober or sesquipedalian I know, I know I'm just showing off and there are those who'll mock and scoff but it's simply polite and harmless fun unlike the crap 'tween vic and jon

didn't Bush mention something about climate change in his State of the Union? I'm guessing it would be more about pushing his agenda than an actual concern about global warming, but it's nice that he's finally acknowledging it

Can't really talk about music because the only decades I've personally experienced are the 80's, 90's and now. If I had to go for one over the other I'd probably say that the music I'm lsitening to now is so much better than the previous decades. Fashion is definitely this decade. 80's was a linear parade of one god-awful fashion disaster after another. 90's was a reaction to the 80's. Nightlife, tough one this. either 90's or now. Probably now, I much prefer the up market bars to the grotty cheese-fests of the 90's... but I was a kid in the 90's and as such I was having fun finding out what I did or did not like. NUFC, well it has to be the 90's. but I doubt you'll find many on here that can disagree.. it was the closest we've been to succesful for most of us. as a person I'd say now. I'm settled and know what I will and will not tolerate. Makes life easier. (also, no responsibilities )

Can I Have My Club Crest On My Back Please
The Fish replied to Mad-on-the-cocks's topic in General Chat
serves him right for getting the club crest tatooed on his back. it should be printed on his massive gelatinous gut tbh -
I normally get shoulder pains when I've had bad posture all day, usually from sitting improperly. correct me if I'm wrong but if the base of your spine isn't set properly, the pain isn't local it appears up the top end of your back? either way I'd suggest get some swarthy bloke to give you a full body massage always works for me

TBF they aren't trained specialists and don't need the bother of facing off with some heed the ball who's off his mash on Lambrini and uses the metro once a week to get to the new monkey. It's not right, but perfectly understandable. The metro should be better policed but I think the inspectors are fine both in terms of numbers and when they're about. Well we disagree then. Why should passengers put up with these shitheads whilst the inspectors congregate in huge groups to hit 99% fare paying passengers in rush hour? The system's a joke, and worse than any other one I have been to in the world, with the possible exception of New York. The vast majority of Nexus income is from the weekday rush hour pass buyers though. Hammering them keeps the service going. It's not cost effective to have 15 inspectors getting paid to catch one arsehole at 11pm. If people are causing trouble on the metro, that's up to the police to sort out at the moment. It's not right like, I think the council should tell Nexus that after 8pm the metro's should have 'bouncers' because you get just as many pissed up tits on there as in any pub. jesus, getting turned away from the Metro.. worse than the bouncers at Ikon not letting you in... big problem with that is that I'm pretty sure the police would be quite pleased to see the idiots manage to get out of town and the Metro is the best way to get rid of them. I think they should have floor to ceiling barriers which operate properly, only open for one person and validate tickets automatically

when I worked at the ministry at Longbenton I'd get the Metro from Whitley Bay every morning I think I paid for it two or three times in the 2 years I used the Metro for that journey. Never any inspectors, and the fine (at that time) was a tenner. I figured even if I got caught once a week it's still cheaper than paying £1.80 a journey. about a year ago I was caught twice in two days and so got a £40 fine, paid up and have bought a ticket for every journey since. Hate having to use it though. Packed out with the worst humanity can sick up; charvas, drunks, old people and young mothers.

it seems every year we produce a striker that does well in the reserves, Chopra, Offiong, Zola, now Finnigan. I can't help but wonder why they seem unable to make the step up to Premiership level?

saw this in reference to the House of Representatives a while back. so it's likely someone has edited it to fit our lovely parliamentarians.
