Am I being special; how are there 3pm fixtures there? Is it simply that those are the fixtures selected, but it isn't confirmed what time they'll be played? Kodi should still work, shouldn't it?

Oh, we know we've got a Bobby Dazzler. We've been starved of all but the basics of football for so long, but we know a good manager when we see one. More importantly we know a good man. We never took to Pardew, or Kinnear or Wise etc. but Chris Hughton was taken to our hearts because he worked under ridiculous pressure and did so with grace and dignity, yet when that same pressure fell on Pardew's shoulders he blamed the media, the fans, the players and of course, his old nemesis, Science. I think it's fair to say that Benitez is the best manager (ability wise) that we've had since Robson. That that ability comes with a track record of engaging with the community, "understanding" football clubs and dignity, well... that's all the better. Appreciate the well wishes but make no mistake, we know we're very lucky to have Rafa at the helm as he's amongst the few that can steer a once proud club back on course.

I mean, I know we're half seriously saying teams should stump up north of £25m for a player who's only ever turned it on for the attention of the cameras and the big clubs, but Stones has done nowt thus far to say he's anything but another Jack Rodwell (different position, granted). £53,000,000... you could 100% buy a better centre back for that and given that a club with their resources can buy the finished product and needn't gamble on potential, what's the benefit in the risk? Wouldn't you let him move to Spurs for £20-£25m, then, if he turns out to be class, go in with an eye-watering bid afterwards?

John Stones to City for c£53m?

Never listen to talkSport, but that's a ballsy and principled move in a world without much of that going on. Fair play to him and hope he gets another job soon enough.

Glad that the obvious trolling is the bit you're all focussing on.

You reckon he does it on pub night? Rushing through bumbled costume changes like an angry racist farce?

Finally finished putting the answers together. Thanks to everyone who took the time to give answers on Marching on Together and Waccoe Got a much friendlier welcome than I was expecting to be honest, I mean sure there were a few calling me a cunt, but.. what's new? They, on the whole, seemed quite realistic about their current status and near future under Cellino, but there was a definite split between the two forums. Waccoe much more negative about the owner, Marching on Together seemed to take a longer-term view. There's a wee treat for those who enjoy being wound up at the bottom too. and from a Waccoe poster going by Sabellaman Enjoy

Sunderland Club Statement; If they've asked to talk to him and he's asked to talk to them, surely he's gone?

I know some of the names put forward are jokes, but years of dross seems to have blinded the mackems to a whole world of options.

I think £20-£25m is definitely doable, but if we can get £35m for Moussa Sissoko after he's been publicly shit for years, we've basically won at Football Transfers- 1745 replies
