Definitely let him go in the summer whether we survive or not. Still think we could get a decent amount for him, (he's still a French international in an era of massive competition for the front 6 positions) but another season at Newcastle will be one too many for either party.

Daredevil is much closer in tone to JJ than anything else out there. Don't think the second season was pro-vs-ant agonist as JJ & DD1 was. The 2 characters introduced in the 2nd season are leads in their own right and while their arcs are interesting, I think the show lacked the overarching menace that JJ & DD1 had in Killgrave and Wilson Fisk.

Haven't watched enough of Buffy to make that call, I thought it was mostly monster of the week stuff? The other comic book series that are out at the moment are Agents of Shield, Peggy Carter, then the DC stuff like Flash, Arrow and Gotham. They're all aimed at a younger market I reckon. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I think so, aye. I'm happy to admit I'm a bigger fan of comicbook stuff than most on here, so I stuck a non-spoiler review in spoilers so people who aren't bothered, don't have to read it.

Thought Lascelles was fine, and while Sissoko was poor, it's Colback's thoughtlessness that has cost us 2 goals in the last 2 games. I know he's no Left Back, but both goals came from stupid fouls. He contributed nothing going forward and was comfortably undone by Fabio Borini, of all people.

No real change. 68% sure we're going down. If you're relying on a distinctly average 'keeper to endure survival, you're fucked already. IF we survive, it'll have little to do with which replacement 'keeper we field. Rafa gets the defence organised enough to keep out Norwich, Villa, Palace & Swansea, AND encourages the forwards to maybe try beating some of the worst defences in the league... that's what will drag us out of this shit.
