Money talks, but I don't think Charnley is fluent.

The only game I've seen show off the Oculus Rift is Minecraft and the Wipeout-esque game above. Do you lot think it will be similar God-games, or will the technology be able to manage frenetic games like COD, or the like?

Buy cheap players who've an eye on their next move, sell them for a profit, try and not get relegated.

Doesn't fit the model though.

How many David Bowie/"Ground Control to Major Tim" jokes did they squeeze in?

Speaking of Christmas telly, do they still do the Christmas Lectures for kids?

Behave yourself man. He's a prospect, but we need players ready to hit the ground running (also, doesn't he play RW?)

Chronicle says "it's up to Lee Charnley to convince" any new signings.

True dat homes. There's reports we've lodged a bid for Lacazette, who was amazing last season, but doesn't seem to have been as free-scoring this time around. He'd improve our threat up front, not sure how good he is at holding up the ball, but if he plays like Remy, we may not need a target man and instead rely on him finishing the chances he fashions for himself? I'd love to see us sign a younger version of Michael Carrick; someone who can sit alongside Tiote when we're in need of some steel in the centre, or alongside Wijnaldum when we're looking to press home our advantage.
-
I think we've more need for a player who can control the play. A central midfielder who can dictate the play; control possession when we need to slow the play, transition play when we need to speed it up a bit. Those positions are important, no doubt and if we had a better owner/director I'd expect them all to be addressed in this window for a fairly modest spend (c£35-50m), but with these chumps I'd be surprised if we signed anything other than a lightweight French winger and a striker with potential.

She sounds pucking busy mind.

I reckon that run was worthy of recognition to be honest, probably why the impartial journalist mentioned it. Also, I wasn't bemoaning his departure, more reacting to the tweet which criticised a footballer for doing what the overwhelming majority of footballers would do in his position. Would have said similar if someone had criticised Zlatan or Ronaldo when they failed to square it. -

Cool, then after can we search for tracking back? That's the bestest. -

You sir, are an enemy of football. Not one player would have squared that ball in the context of that chance. Not even Messi. -
Where's Yosemite Sam? Surely he'll have a grown up reaction to this?

Knowing our luck, we'd sneak past a weakened Watford only to be greeted by someone like Man United in the next round. FOL -

Mental that. Nobody is passing that ball. He's just beaten 5-6 players on his own, he's a yard out, but he's going to square it? Aye right. -

It'd be a great opportunity to give de Jong, Thauvin and Mbabu some game time, to have them challenging for a starting position.
