Or they're just bamps?

Jesus...

I liked his early stuff, but his drink and drugs abuse had a massive impact on his performances. Hopefully he's back on track and the Libertines will record something decent, soon.

Comfortable 2-0 home win. We'll play ok, but they're just much better than us.

BBC radio 1's top 10, surely? Doubt 6 Music would have you feeling so old.

Had this image of some poor Stand-Up having to perform to a crowd of nurses with J69 telling him how unfunny and lacking in cool he is.

Newcastle United v Liverpool (6/12/15 16:00 ko Sky)

Can't imagine Vieira down the pub, but he definitely wheels out that anecdote over a glass of chablis -
Got ours on 18th, if the summer party is anything to go by it'll be decent. First time in a long time that I had to get off the tube to stop it spinning. The bosses know the score as well; have food, 1 or 2 drinks, put some cash behind the bar, then make a quick exit, leaving the rest of us to get shitfaced. Office is relaxed enough that even if someone did do something stupid, no fuss would be made.

Aye he did, against Vieira's Arsenal if memory serves. -
He's not better than Sissoko & Sissoko is our 1st choice right sided midfielder.

It's not the only similar attribute, just ask Herr Gemmil. -

Wasn't Sissoko the fastest player in the Premier League last season? I don't think we need an inconsistent but pacey right winger. I think we need a dominant centre back, a playmaker who sits deep, and a mobile competent left sided wing/full back. (I've no idea how they've figured that out, did he hit the highest speed? Was he consistently hitting a high speed? )

Fucking Hell trooper man.

Really don't understand the love for Lennon, has never produced consistently, doesn't play in the area we're weakest and will cost a shit ton in wages.

Vieira and Toure dominate that centre of the park. Has Sissoko got the cahonas for that? Doubt it. -

No nowt about him beyond the fact he's undertaken the herculean task of getting Rangers from the Scottish Championship into the Scottish Premier League for the first time in their history. -

Letting the game pass him by has nothing to do with his ability, it's his attitude. In terms of his defensive ability, the boy can't tackle, hasn't got great awareness of hos to occupy the right space and doesn't play low-risk passes in tight areas which ends up inviting pressure when the pass goes astray or the player who receives it is immediately in trouble. We should be able to play with 1 defensive midfielder & 1 more focused on attack, but we can't with our current squad. That said, our attacking midfielders leave our fullbacks exposed, so we might need two defensively minded centre-mids to help cover the flanks? I don't mean we need two Tiote's, but certainly couldn't play with Tiote and, say, de Jong. -

Can't defend and likely to let the game pass him by. -
"Reality" is subjective bullshit anyway.

Yeah, probably. Bonkers that we sold Abeid for buttons. He had the rudiments of what we need. -

I don't think we're on opposite sides of the argument here. I think you think I'm saying "lets stick with Anita & Colback cos they're doing a good job". I'm not. I'm only saying we should stick with Anita & Colback in the centre because we have nobody else that can do that job. Sissoko goes missing far too often to be used in the engine room. And for all his undoubted quality going forward he is 100% not a defensive or holding midfielder. This means we should sign a proper central midfielder so we can get shot of Anita/Colback. I'm only looking at the next 4 games because by the time we meet Arsenal we should have bought and registered a quality central midfield.
