Matter of degrees. Does the job I dislike allow me enough time/money to be happy when I'm not there? Does the one I like pay too little for a comfortable lifestyle? How much do I dislike the job? etc. etc. Generally speaking, I'd prefer to be happy in my job.

Tonight's dinner: 1.5 lbs shaved beef (sliced paper-thin; most easily done with beef still slightly frozen) 1 Tbsp Cornstarch 1 tsp sugar 1 Tbsp Soy sauce 2 Tbsp Water 1 Tbsp oil Marinate for at least 30 minutes boil 1/2-1 lb of greens (pea pods/snap peas/baby bok choy works best--tonight it's the latter) for 1 minute, then blanche them, set aside. In wok, heat 3 Tbsp oil and 2 clove garlic (pressed/minced). When the garlic aroma is released, add the beef and 15 slices of ginger, about 1mm thick, 2 cm long (mixing my metrics and standards! ) 15 1/2" peices of green onions/scallions when color changes, add veggies, then add oyster sauce to taste; enough to cover beef, veggies. Continue to stir fry until beef and veggies are completely cooked. Best when served on sushi rice.

Four players in the squad who are not in the domestic league. I'm surprised to see Dempsey in there considering that he very recently went to Fulham, but no real surprise. News over here is that Gooch was not included because he's settling in at Newcastle. Similar story for a lot of Euro-based players (Wolff, Beasely etc) which is why Dempsey is such a surprise.
