Fell asleep watching it last night and woke up just as the end titles were running. Those alone were enough to fuck with my mind when I went to bed.

Considering but I'm going to see fatboy slim on Friday night so I'll probably be off me tits Saturday.
-
Well yes it's acceptable in those times.
-
No doubt.

I think I did, my memory isn't too good at my age. I basically know nothing about it. Thought it was all to do with wandering about looking for children's characters.
-
I play Tetris or something like that when I'm having a shit sometimes. I think there's a clear difference in killing a bit of time to wandering around the streets looking for imaginary creatures.
-
That's my concern.

I'm talking ready to go levels of moron here. Clearly that's what Fish has been learning over there.
-
Are you lot being serious? I just assumed that shit was for kids and absolute fucking morons. I held some of you in higher esteem than that.

I'm thinking of just sending them direct to you via PM now Gem.

Can you just stick to knowing nothing about one subject at a time please CT.

I think we're something like 10/1 to sign him. Some premier league clubs apparently interested. Never seen him myself but hear good things about him. -

I'm hoping he doesn't need to play much this season but I do think he would be useful still in this division. -

They want someone closer in quality to their first team though. Barcelona will expect international class players as back up for most positions which you can't imagine they're going to have too many of in their junior teams. The problem is when it comes to their forwards, they're so good, aren't that old and play so many games, they're going to struggle to find any quality players who want to be back up to them. I think they found it a bit of problem last season when one or more of the front three was injured/knackerd that they only had kids as back up. -

Not suggesting there's anything to that but they have been linked to some strange strikers this summer. They're looking for someone to come in as backup for their main three. You can see where the dilema lies because there's very few players in the world who are going to believe they can dislodge any of those in the short term but they need someone so as cover for injuries or to give them a breather. Gamerio was the linked yesterday but you'd have to wonder why he would go there for anything but a payday. He's a good striker and would get a game for a lot of champions league teams but he's not going to move ahead of Messi, Neymar or Suarez. -
Doubt Krul will end up being here. Don't see him as a captain anyway. Never been keen on any keeper being a captain anyway.

Yeah it just didn't have a really exceptionally funny part such as taking his mate to a brothel, the anti gun bit or the girls in his hotel room after the montreal show. I've been working my way through stranger things and tbh I struggled to get into the first couple of episodes for some reason. Watched the third last night though and enjoyed that a lot more.

Root is one of the best batsmen in the world so I agree he would have looked class anywhere, I'm just thinking that too often we end up 40 for 3 or whatever so having his influence along with Cook earlier might be something that helps avoid that.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched
David Kelly replied to Jimbo's topic in General Chat
Oldboy and Lady Vengence are both excellent films. I've still not got round to watching Mr Vengence (which I think I might have bought off you). I started watching Memories of Murder and was really enjoying it but never got round to finishing it. I'll have to give it another go. The Host is really good too. Keep meaning to watch JSA too. -
I wouldn't be inclined to move Root again now. He couldn't have looked any better than he did at three in the last test and even in the first one he was ok just played a couple of daft shots. I think we're a lot more likely to have a good platform to play off with him there and that will take pressure of who comes after. Could Hales play at 4?

We all knew we'd won, that was never in dispute. But that wasn't what you asked for. -

You are not arguing that we should bring in a better strikeforce than what we have. You are arguing that the replacements can easily be found in loans from premier league clubs without having a clue who these players are. Can you not see what people find ridiculous in that? We're not telling you that your metal detecting kit should be replaced from gear that you could buy online without having a clue what that gear would be. -

Did you go out and look for the player I've slated the most in our team to try and beat me? I don't rate Dummett at all so yes there potentially could be someone who is better than him. The talk is though that we are looking for a new leftback (although Gamez mainly played there for Madrid so he might be our first choice as long as Janmaat is still here) and I would expect us to make a permanent signing in that area. We are not skint so there is absolutely no reason why it would need to be a loan and I would be less 'excited' if we signed someone on loan than if we signed someone permanently. -
Lascelles looks to be Rafa's first choice centre back at the minute. Ryder is talking up that it will be a decision between Mbemba and Hanley to partner him. Personally I think it should be Mbemba and one of the other two as I think he's our best defender and both of the other two would compliment him. But who am I to doubt Rafa. If this is true then Lascelles looks like a good choice. Some very good captains have been given the role early in their careers so his inexperience shouldn't necessarily be an issue. I think what is more important than who is captain, is that we have more leaders now in Lacelles, Gamez and Hanley.

You also talked about top clubs. Bent and Ince have never played for top clubs. Bent has been finished at the top level for years and Ince has never come close to proving himself at the top level. At the risk of repeating myself, we have better players already.
