Whatever way we want to play we need to buy a new leftback. I can't believe how many people have told me that Dummett will be ok in this league. The man is fucking useless and wouldn't look good playing for Gateshead. It's looking like the same can be said for Colback and Anita (unless he's playing righback). Rafa is a cautious manager and I expected this approach on Friday night but I think he went too far playing Hayden, Colback and Anita. None of them really offered anything going forward (Colback didn't offer anything at all) and playing Anita wide meant we lacked balance. With the squad we have currently Aarons has to start on the left and Ritchie on the right. I'm hoping Diame will play alongside Hayden on Saturday too.

We should never gloat then given our teams penchant for fucking up.

Local Journo's have dismissed it. It's worth noting that our media parter said that we'd signed Austin last summer and Berahino would be signing shortly after. Media partner clearly doesn't extend to us giving them any information on potential transfer dealings. What seems stranger is that their reporters don't seem to bother contacting their local counterparts in the same group to try and confirm stories. Or maybe they just like to create stories out of nothing to sell papers. It was clear how much we needed Mitro on Friday and I'm sure that the new striker we are looking for will be in a similar mould to him. We also need another wide player to give us that balance Rafa has talked about.

Finished watching this last night and thoroughly enjoyed it by the end. The first couple of episodes took a bit of getting through for some reason but glad I stuck with it. The young lass who played Eleven was excellent and the sherrif was really good too.

I watched very little last time around for some reason. Think I'll try and watch a bit more this time but with the football starting today also my attention will be firmly on that.

Both Ryder and Douglas seem to think Hanley will start ahead of Mbemba. I hope that's just beacuse of concerns about his fitness after the knock he's had. Mbemba is our best centreback for me and I think he's a natural partner to the other two.

I think you might be disapointed re further additions. I think there will be more but I doubt they will be better than the players we've signed so far. I think we've done the main parts of our business already. I think we'll be looking for a backup striker who can play in the Mitro mould. We might still have another winger in mind who could be a starter but even then it'll probably someone you've not heard of.

We didn't have any of those players last time in the championship, didn't have Townsend at the start of last season and if you don't know who are signings are this time, I can't believe you knew anythiing about Gini last summer. Think we might have been better getting ourselves out earlier last night and having a go at them then. The ball seemed to be swinging then and we might have got a couple of early wickets and put them under pressure. Only 86 ahead now and they look comfortable as anything.

Been there three times and loved it each time. Hake, Monkfish and Halibut all served with an ice cold beer. Really looking forward to trying the one on the quayside as the lass serving is apparently stunning.
