Breaking news: Sir John Hall sells his share

Where the fuck did they find him Mind you could they have possibly spoken to a thicker looking selection of the Newcastle public? You'd think they'd done it on purpose! -
Breaking news: Sir John Hall sells his share

Aye basically unless the fat man buys up the remaining shares himself he's already been rendered virtually impotent so if nothing else happens we shouldn't have to suffer his incompotent management any more. Fingers crossed that it ends up a whole lot better than that! -
I'd be chuffed to bits with that. Maybe wishful thinking but i'd be more than happy if our starting XI looked like this next season.... Given Baines Ben Haim Campbell Solano Duff Butt Baraja Milner Owen Viduka Have we actually been linked to him then our are you just picking names out of the air?

I'd be delighted to see this happen. Mind you I was delighted when we signed Carr so I'm not the best judge of signing fullbacks!

What were you doing in a Spanish airport with a mincer?

Smo's surely got to be up for this!

I still think there will be a lot of people who delay before making their decision to renew. I know I will go every year pretty much no matter what but there are a lot of very sick people out there who won't be taken in just by the appointment of Allardyce. They will need to see some good intent on the transfer front before shelling out hundreds of pounds. Fifteen quid doesn't make that much difference when your paying that type of money!

Would be two good signings for free. I think we're gonna need to get some players in for nowt or next to nowt considering how light the squad is and if we can get two of that quality it's a good start!

Beware of the bird with the brown feather, Beware of the two bees buzzing together... tbh. Like I said, clas

Dark Towers was class tbh.

You have to expect players of his age to drop clangers though. Adams did it till he was older than Taylor which was why he was called Donkey for years. And with the partners and lack of decent coaching Taylor has had you've got even more of an excuse. I'm not suggesting he's going to be as good as Terry or Woodgate but I do think he has the potential to be a strong Premiership player which is more than probably all but 2 of our centrebacks have been sine we were promoted!

Henrik Pedersen, David Thompson, Quinton Fortune and Cesar

On a downward career path now by the looks of it. Not really what we want although he could bolster the squad if his wages were reasonable. -
I was never in any doubt that I would renew even if Roeder was still in charge and the prices had gone up. So this is all a bonus for me!

Didn't have a clue with the baseball one but my only knowledge of baseball comes from Major League and Field Of Dreams. It said my love life is mediocre which is a bit of an over estimation at the minute!

Well said. I'd like to see him brought in. I'd prefer to see a more experienced coach tbh but I wouldn't object to him being one of a team.
-
Was it not Pedro who rekon'd he's the best left back at the club (admittedly this isn't hard)?
-
Allardyce wouldn't have needed to see him up close to realize that he's fucking useless tbf. It's a well known fact throughout the game.
-
That wasn't the type of Anal I meant but it does fit like!
-
Aye, I've never thought much of him and if he's lost his place in Villa's team it's not a good sign. He is better than what we have but that says nothing whatsoever.
-
He had a bad injury. And I think he's out of contract. Fair enough, you can understand my concern though He's always looked a canny enough player when I've seen him like. Physical presence too. He'd need someone to play alongside hin though. Aye he's definitely not as good as two players

I'm just fitting your point to the argument. If you think we need a manager who is good at overachieving, then you msut think we need to overachieve to reach the bottom berth of the UEFA Cup. What it must be to have such ambition! That makes no logical sense whatsoever. I would love a manager who can make us over achieve which for us would be to constantly win things. Scraping a UEFA cup spot is overachieving for Bolton not us. Think you may need to adjust your expectations a little there DK. We have regularly qualified for europe over the past ten years though so I see no reason why we should lower our expectations below that level. This season there is a lot of work to be done so it might be out of reach but beyond that it has to be a realistic first target given the clubs resources. Only three times in nine years through league position though. Good point that tbh. One that's too often overlooked.

Has he lost his place at Juve to Boumsong? If that's the case it can't be a positive sign!
