Margot & The Nuclear So & So's - The Dust Of Retreat

After looking through his films I don't really know why I've been put off him so much recently. I actually thought even the likes of National Treasure, Snake Eyes, The Rock and Face Off were pretty watchable in a no brain way.

I don't know if I have ever seen one of his films that I enjoyed. I thought Gosford Park was ok but disapointing. Haven't seen MASH like as I never liked the series much.

Doesn't he actually die in one of them?

Never seen that. I actually just rememered Honneymoon In Vegas which I like too. Looking at the list of films he's been in there are a lot that were good or at least ok but his recent stuff must just be putting me off.

Aye I'd forgot about those two. I think Leaving Las Vegas was probably the point where he became famous and a started making shite.

I think in the past I have been put off by Nicholas Cage. Red Rock West and Rumblefish aside, I ususally find his films shite.

I love BTILC but The Thing is his best for me like.

I just get the feeling I would be getting it just because it's him and not because it's something I want to hear.

I really can't be bothered with this. I like him but I find most of his albums too long and only really enjoy them if I have the time to spare to listen all the way through. This just seems like too much of an effort for me.

Shindig used to be canny when I used to go but I have to admit I was off my tits most of the time and can't remember a lot of what went on. I agree with the whole bars over clubs thing and I think there are a lot of canny bars that offer different things depending on what you want.

I enjoy it more and more each time I watch it.

If you like John Carpenters 70's/early 80's work, Assault On Precinct 13 is well worth watching. It's much better than the remake. I need to remember to record Raising Arizona tonight, it's one of the only Coen brothers films I haven't got.

Chinatown. Fucking brilliant. Jack and John Huston are both fantastic.
