  1. Saw American Made yesterday. Perfectly suited Cruise, pretty enjoyable.
  2. That scene was just for those who couldn't work out (I'm guessing Ant given what else he's missed ) what was obvious to the rest of us from the episode before last. Littlefinger came as a bit of a shock. I never expected him to make it all the way to the end but he's gone sooner than I would have thought. Bran being touched by the Night King was certainly the reason why I thought the dead were able to pass through the magic of the wall. But as Andrew says it's not been mentioned much in the show.
  3. Apparently we're in talks with Chelsea for Remy. I know he's played very little of late but it's a no brainer for me. We know he's a quality player who could give us a few options in terms of style of play and I think it would be a lift for many of the fans.
  4. Aye that's my least favourite part of the new season too. Still can't quite get used to new format of having a band and the end. It's reminding me too much of the Young Ones.
  5. Aye my mate said that from what I told him about the film it seemed like they had done that. It certainly felt like it should have been part of something longer. It just seems to all of a sudden reach the end far too easily. It's a shame when it's such a well loved saga that's taken so long to get to the screen.
  6. Saw Atomic Blonde and The Dark Tower last week. Both were watchable but AB was much the better of the two. Worth watching for Theron's nipple on when she goes into the ice bath. I've not read any of the Dark Tower books but I assume it's a lot more in depth then the film which seemed to have been made very much for children.
  7. I watched it again and found out the first time I'd watched it, it had ended about five minutes before the end when Jon went into the water. I'd not even seen Coldhands let alone the ice dragon.
  8. Aye I thought it was as annoying as Sansa has ever been. Maybe because she was just a distraction from what I was wanting to watch.
  9. That earlier book isn't set in the same world as a song of ice and fire apparently. Still I think it's certainly suggestive of where he sees things heading.
  10. Maybe. There's no precedent in the books for anything like this as far as I can remember so anything is possible. It would certainly even up the playing field you'd think.
  11. Loved Westworld. Thandie Newton being naked regularly certainly didn't harm it either.
  12. If you don't like the second season I'd probably not bother with the new one if I were you. The mystery structure of the first season is long gone and it's fully down the rabbit hole of Lynch's most surreal work. Personally I'm loving it but then I loved the second season too.
  13. That was my first thought. But I'm not sure how that could work, surely one element would work against the other. I'd accidentally read some spoilers about what was going to happen this season the other week. Happily this episode seems to make them complete nonsense.
  14. The fact that he claims a thought process is interesting.
  15. What a fucking belta that was. Not a tit in sight either.
  16. The question seems not to be what is and isn't unconditional, but rather what is a supporter. By Wolfy's definition it seems to be someone who attends every match. Whilst I can revel in the superfan status he's thrust upon me, it's clearly nonsense as the club has many supporters who don't go to matches regularly for whatever reason. To me it's pretty obvious that you can support the club/team without going to games.
  17. Woakes is probably a bit more pacey than the rest but certainly not what you would call express. Is Wood injured again or is he in this squad? He's probably the only pace option we really have atm.
  18. Hopefully Stoneman manages to get score this series or we're going to be seriously struggling against the Aussies. I worry that Westley is another Vince in that he looks nice for a few runs but cant get beyond that.
  19. Bell has averaged just short of 25 this season so I think he can be ruled out. It might be worth going back to Balance and playing him at 5 where he actually plays well for Yorkshire. Either that or look at Hales or Roy who at least we know can perform at international level with the white ball. Or play Ali and Bairstow as batsmen and bring in Butler and another spinner.
  20. On and on goes the search for a top order.
