  2. tbf Berbatov would maybe work well with the two littlens as he is bit like a younger and quicker version of Viduka bit far more of a pussy. Torres for his first season the prem has been different class, no-one expected him to do this well in his first one - it really is amazing how CM rarely lies, remember when the lad was 18 banging them in for my Juve team =) mind you, probably had more than a bit of help from the ref back in those days =/
  3. I'd say Ronaldo's performance last season but this season especially, has been as impressive, if not better than Henry's between 02-06, and his season isn't even over yet. Frightening to think he is just 23 also =/
  4. Arsenal's football over the two legs was the better. Torres' goal was magnificent; but Walcott's run deserved to win the game. It's a shame that in the end once again, it comes down to a couple of very questionable decisions IMO.
  5. Gomis. Don't know anything about him though. Seen some youtube footage, looks quick, strong, and can hit the back of the net in style.
  6. also, hearing the 'I didn't see it' bollocks that comes from Rafa, Arsene and co in interviews is actually starting to piss me off, before I found it funny, now I just see it as dishonest bullshit that has seeped it's way into the core of the game. Admit you may have been lucky with the decision or something?! Thank fuck for the integrity of Kevin Keegan. can't wait for next season
  7. seriously I hate it when a good game of football is spoiled by soft refereeing. Foul on Hleb in first leg was a 100% pen 5 yards from the ref. Babel went down after Toure brushed his fucking shorts. It just doesn't make sense and makes me question why I enjoy watching the sport when such mincery can win such an important game.
  8. Babel sounds guilty as fuck when asked ''Was it a penalty''. lucky bastard =)
  9. Arsenal's 2nd deserved to win that match, not Babel's pathetic dive. What a run by Walcott. Rafa is the luckiest manager in cup football since SAF =)
  10. No thanks. Dark Viduka tbh he still only 26 though. On his day, far more frightening than Viduka in terms of power and pace, he just needs the right coach and team to bring it out of him again.
  11. Habib Beye looks like guitarist Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine. was going to post this a long while ago as RATM are one of my fav bands, but I couldn't be arsed to until now. Anyone else see the resemblance or have I had the music on too loud?
  12. would be interesting if Martins and Emre got on the blower to Adriano. If anything can rekindle his love for the game, being part of Keegan's revolution just might.
  13. I agree. Would rather go all out for Arshavin who is just approaching his prime and looks to have the pace, talent and character to survive in the prem.
  14. Just reminding that donkey round here that said Ronaldo (the fat boy not the manc twat) was the best player in the world ever, the prick who had never heard of the 10 best players in the world. He might not have been the best player in the world ever; but football is about putting the ball in the back of the net. Ronaldo did this very often with some of the best clubs in Europe and for his country. To diss the man and call yourself a football fan is ridiculous. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronaldo - is all that needs to be said. Talk about miss the fucking point. Btw, quoting wikipedia? I could insert the nickname fat muff head in that article right now. the numbers down the right hand side you daft cunt =)

  16. Edgar starts, Taylor must be injured, Go team Canada
  17. got a clip? nah but I found a clip of young Wesley Bigun sprinting himself in to a couple of man utd players then getting sent off =)
  18. anyone catch his goal for the reserves on SSN? Keegan did and probably still hopes that Emre can do it here.
  19. from the few games i've seen him in, looks just short of a baby-faced beardsley, i'd take him for sure.
  20. bullshit - along with Berbatov, I think he's top of the shopping list for each of the top 4. He's proving himself in the Prem - minimum risk... I'd love to think we could attract him but out of our league IMO... Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea definitely wouldn't take him. He's not good enough for them, not by a good distance either. Liverpool is a possibility.. but even then I wouldn't bank on it. I think a lot of people see a player excelling at a lower club and they assume that this player would benefit from playing for a bigger club. I think Bentley wants to move because Blackburn don't share his (or Mark Hughes') ambition. We clearly do. I think you'd be surprised... Reminds me very much of Rob Lee in his younger days - showed tremendous promise when he was on Arsenal's books and I just think he'll get better and better. IMO he's a far better talent than SWP (even when he as at his peak). Man Utd wouldn't want him as they have Ronaldo, unless they're going to use him more central or on the left. Can't see Wenger fancying him either after his comments in the press recently re Wallcott leaving to get first-team football. Chelsea and Liverpool could possibly be interested though... if liverpool finally do go for quaresma then I'd say we would be most likely to steal him
  21. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...l=richard+dunne soon after KK arrived I had a gut feeling Dunne would join but Man City were doing well back then =/ Maybe in the summer we put a cheeky few million on the table and hopefully he'd join. Just makes this end of season run we could put together all the more important, the more heads we can get turning, the better the quality of player that will join in the summer =)
  22. awesome game, extended highlights =) Berbatov should have snatched it at the death
  23. imagine the sight of that little drunk ginger saffer being arrested in his undies hehe
  24. to be fair, the lad hobbles about as if he's 40 (which he probably is), and his delivery from set plays (half the reason he starts a game) was absolutely shocking. I've stood up for him in the past, Thought he would be a good man as the RM of a 4-3-3 under Sam with Emre as LM; but he has been woeful nearly every time he has put on the shirt, which is a shame. MAybe he can start performing when we really need it most, especially as Milner's out?! let's fucking hope so
