  1. Well the original plan - that got scrapped because of the team becoming permanent relegation fodder- was meant to replace the current training ground... I don't think just improving the current complex will close the gap to other teams, but even then you will certainly look for much more than 10m.
  2. Leicester’s new training complex does cost 80m...
  3. Let’s see. One side got a compensation of 2m, the other admitted to lying. It’s really tricky who to believe here...
  4. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/sep/25/kevin-keegan-no-im-not-going-to-take-a-compliment-from-mike-ashley
  5. It’s 12 years, isn’t it...
  6. I can still see him selling to the worst thinkable owner just to piss fans off.
  7. It probably and hastily will come now...
  8. I did check this. I wonder why the phrase „kicking the can“ doesn’t appear in the Bloomberg article... Of course, I do read the Sun. It’s always good to know where idiots do get their ideas from.
  9. If you are quoting the Sun, you could at least openly admit it... “can kicking“ https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/7186474/pound-soars-as-angela-merkel-opens-the-door-to-a-brexit-deal-by-backing-down-on-europes-red-lines/ and as much as I vant us to rule ze vorld, it’s not up to Angie to decide how a deal will look like. Barnier has to follow the principles set out by all members not just one of them. It’s something that’s just not understood on the British side tbh
  10. It’s ridiculous he is still a major figure in British politics with his track record. I can’t think of many major politicians being as clueless as he is. If he was as good as a GP as a MP it makes Dr Nick a contender for the next nobel prize in medicine tbh
  11. Ok, rather Descartes... Edo, ergo sum.
  12. In regards to Corbyn, CT seems like Einstein, relatively of course...
  13. The reaction to this might be great entertainment.
  14. The ferry port isn’t welcoming either. Border control does take ages and the staff seem to be under instructions to make people feel as unwanted as possible. They couldn’t read my wife’s passport due to technical problems but behaved as if she had a fake one. I wonder what will happen to the DSDF city trips after Brexit as they don’t make a lot sense if all you will see from your time is the queue at border control before you have to go back on the ship.
  15. If that was a team that does care I won’t care anymore tbh.
  16. It does feature in their match report tbf even with a photo of the “Craggy Island Mags” https://www.nufc.com/2018-19html/2018-08-11tottenham-h.html
  17. Fit for the purpose of the owner but not the football team.
  18. Even without injuries it will be a very difficult season. On paper I don’t consider the new players to be a significant improvement considering the players they did replace. Only Rondon probably does add something new to the squad. Last season’s success very much did depend on an incredible run late into the season and some players playing out of their skin. A dip in form from the likes of Dubravka, Diame and Shelvey will lead to results probably looking like those in the first part of last season. The prospect of losing Benitez at the end of the season will have a destabilising effect as well.
  19. So we are making (or faking) desperate and unsuccessful attempts to buy players in the last couple of days of the transfer window as we did in recent years. Looks like a Patzer to me. Planning.
  20. The club will probably fine the player in that case.
  21. https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/archive/united-announce-new-training-ground-plans Did Charnley never tell Ashley these plans were never executed as they got put on hold because of relegation worries?
