  1. That’s what too much crap beer does with your brain... ...and I do include Erdinger here.
  2. Massive club! They made the official UEFA top 20. page 114 https://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/OfficialDocument/uefaorg/Clublicensing/02/58/99/65/2589965_DOWNLOAD.pdf
  3. It’s either stupid as fuck or his manoeuvre to block any sale, meaning it’s an integral part of his bluff. Any such move would seriously restrict the commercial revenue for any new owner. It’s a major asset and therefore probably for both sides not negotiable. The only chance for us to get rid of Ashley is either him dropping dead or the club going bankrupt tbh
  4. Working abroad under the EU freedom of movement is totally different to the potential obstacles you face in all other countries, not to mention the easy access to universities but I don’t consider this to be relevant to you...
  5. You are doing well in adapting policies of 1939. Coming back to yesterday’s QT it was telling that the predominant opinion was that everything was up for negotiation but free movement. In the end it comes down to just not want more foreigners. So the core of Brexit is pure xenophobia.
  6. I knew CT would come to life and praise yesterdays QT, that's why I mentioned imbecility, even though its not something to eat...
  7. What's Joe Kinnear doing these days? A failure to sell the club and then giving a job to the poisonous dwarf would be typical for Ashley.
  8. The sad thing is that it does still work quite well with the electorate. The imbecility shown by some people on Qt last night was shocking. Especially the one man still saying that your PM should just walk away from a deal because Angie Merkel would be straight on the phone because of the need to sell cars to the UK. Of course does our industry want to continue polluting your countryside and towns with our diesel cars. We do need to wreck other environments too though. And if British drivers are happy to get along without German cars there are probably enough horses and carriages left to circumvent traffic jams in Kent by just relying on home made products...
  9. http://global.espn.com/soccer/german-bundesliga/10/blog/post/3753198/borussia-dortmund-stopped-spending-and-started-scouting-now-theyre-top-of-the-bundesliga Proof that you can be financially astute, ambitious and successful as long as you are not just penny pinching for the sake of it but have a strategy and competent people doing the work on every level.
  10. With a sale looking increasingly unlikely (if there was ever a chance anyway), no significant transfers and another relegation looming there should be a phenomenal backlash this time.
  11. When I worked for a German department of a law firm in the UK the first thing my German boss told me was that whatever I thought about German bureaucracy that British regulations would take it to a total new level. And he was right. The amount of paperwork especially for legal proceedings or money laundering was obscene and totally lacking efficiency. All of it was not down to EU regulations but UK law or absurd implementation of EU regulations in the UK.
  12. I started reading Keegan‘s biography today and as the likes of Ferdinand and Keys are probably neither capable of reading nor to understand it they should be beaten up with the book until they understand what Ashley has done to this club.
  13. At least he has the England captaincy to look forward to.
  14. As the club is a barrack anyway there is nothing else but open doors and no windows to shut...
  15. Shows the gulf in class and finances if two players can be brought on who earn more in a week than the whole of our team combined. Not to mention the transfer fees...
  16. Ridiculous. Referee bottled it to book him when they scored.
  17. Not bearing the brunt? https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=File:Five_main_citizenships_of_(non-EU)_asylum_applicants,_2017_(number_of_first_time_applicants,_rounded_figures)_YB18.png Add to it the financial contributions to support the likes of Greece to cope with those problems. The problems of non-EU immigrants does get totally overstated tbh.
  18. Irresponsible my arse. It was a moral reaction to a humanitarian crisis. In contrast to implications from the right the number of refugees has been decreasing drastically. Also do the majority not impose a threat to western societies. Because of their status they will also not be able to apply for citizenship here and therefore won’t be eligible for further rights such as freedom of movement but will have to go back once the circumstances will allow it. In my opinion we are rich enough and can afford the moral high ground without having to fear self harming consequences.
