It's probably easier to point out what both teams have in common... ... getting beaten by Jormany on penalties.

PMS? 79323 Aye, on Rob's part. Ridiculous over-reaction tbh. 79491 I think from both... And it's gay ginger, foul mouthed, ill-bred charva tbh.

It's really nice to have Owen in the team (especially as he seperates us from a relegation place). But I remember how I got shot down when I questioned the sense of the transfer because of the huge fee and the problems that could arise...

PMS? 79323 Sense of responsibility in fact - or even RESPECT (cue T Blair) Possibly age as well TBH sometimes the grinding idiocy and/or immaturity of some of our fellow posters gets me down I blame Souness really 79330 Jesus Christ, even by your standards that was unbelievably pompous. Know-it-all arsehole. 79332

He is currently on a free transfer, do you want his telephone number... 79344 I bet you've got it Haven't you? 79347 It's on his website...

I think even more significant are the stats when you compare the matches with and without Michael Owen: 6 points from a possible 33 when Owen wasn't playing. 20 points from a possible 30 when Owen was playing. There wasn't a huge difference in performances, because Newcastle were playing shite in all games so far. So we are in fact relying on the goal poaching abilities of one single player....

Hmm, I thinks it's much cheaper to sack the ONE person that is responsible for the dilemma...
-
Well, he can come if he is paying to play for the privilege to play under the great Graeme Souness.
-
The thing is that of course injuries are taking their toll. But Souness can't cope with a situation like this. From the names Souness was still able to send out a good squad yesterday. But the tactical ignorance of Souness is taking its toll, too. Again he attempted to frustrate the oposition in the first half with a ultra-negative 4-5-1 formation with Luque on the wing. During the first half yesterday (when I was absolutel bored) I stumbled about a thread on a Blackburn forum... http://www.brfcs.co.uk/mb/index.php?showtopic=5958

Ha ha! Boro and Sunderland both getting relegated (along with Brum) could be some compensation for this miserable seaon I suppose. 79172 Good that at least someone getting a bit of schadenfreude out of it... 79173 Schadenfreude is my middle name in times like these. 79177 The thing is I look at the table and wonder where we would be if Michael Owen hadn't won us the games against the likes of Man City, West Brom and West Ham...

So I am waiting for plan B now...

I don't want the likes of McLaren and Bruce getting sacked...

From Radio Newcastle. Remind again me how much Fullham's squad cost compared to ours? 79148 From todays post match interview...

When did Mendieta win the Champions League 79064 What he didn't? Didn't he win it nine times? Or was that 50 Cent...
-
Oh no. No Ameobi, no opening ceremony. My World Cup 2006 is already spoilt...
-
Is hell freezing over? What's coming next? Mendieta winning the Championsleague? Australia qualifying for a World Cup...
-
Seriously? Where did you get that from? 78958 N-O exclusive! 78960 Any press conference announced?

I agree with that. I can't hide that I fancied the little Welchman scoring a goal and running over to the (real) tosser swearing at him. But I couldn't stand if this was the only goal or the winning goal. Especially as it would be more of an indication about Newcastle's poor situation.

So the basic message is that Newcastle cannot afford to sack Souness. But can they afford to keep him in charge? I'd like to know what the wages/turnover ratio is these days, i.e. without income via European cups. The likes of Owen, Luque, Boumsong won't be paid in peanuts. Neither is Babayaro (especially when you believe the numbers from Comical Ali). Parker will be on huge contact as well. Then Dyer's improved contract (I've backed him in the past but giving him an improved contract was idiocy). So comparing these days with the squad under Robson I am pretty sure the wage bill has increased while the income decreased (I haven't seen any casino yet...). So again, can Newcastle financially afford lumbering in midtable mediocrity?

Then he should at least be able to spell the names correctly...
