1. Well, the way the likes of Boumsong and Luque are running there is not any danger for the pitch getting ruined. The 18 yard boxes and the wide sides are also safe from players causing harm to the grass...
2. Flashback ... Rome, March 14th 44 BCE Marcus Brutus speaking to Analus Oliverus from the Vesperi Editio about the senat backing Julius Cesar "We're behind the emperor".
3. I absolutely hate it when the media is still labeling Souness with the attributes "sorry", "scapegoat" etc. As much I am furious about the implications of people being fickle and the lack of stability. Newcastle had demonstrated stability for over a decade with two succesful managers enjoying long spells. The spells of three others were rather short because they were absolutely disastrous. And nobody can accuse Newcastle for seeing a scapegoat in Souness and being fickle. Souness was/is not given not enough time but he was given too much time. He should have got the sack already in the summer because there been to many signs for him just not being a proper manager, i.e. lacking the abilities in coaching, tactical decisions, man managment etc. Instead of listening to the propaganda spread by the tosser and his allies people better watch a collection of games and performances in the recent 16 months and they would see why the sacking of this idiot is long overdue. Monday morning rant over.
4. I thought it sounded like "the bitch".
5. Dear God, no! Graham is just another dour, unimaginative version of Souness and as for "El Tel", words fail to describe the utter horror I would feel if he was appointed. 82909 I think they're just a case of "anyone but Roeder". Seriously though, anyone who could take a side consisting of James, Repka, Sinclair, Cole, Defoe, Kanoute & Di Canio into the First Division would be a disaster waiting to happen here. 82910 And what is this compared to someone capable of taking a team with Given, Babayaro, Boumsong, Bowyer, Solano, Shearer, Luque* into a serious relegation fight... * note that I did not include injured players 82913 Six and two-threes tbh. 82914 Well I just got back from a drinking night. I try to decipher it in a couple of hours...
6. Funny as we looked certain to get relegated under SBR (at least that is what Dougie said)...

8. Fat Fred at least has to relief the tosser of his first team duties. If he doesn't want to pay him off than he has to give Souness a proper job that suits his abilities like ... cleaning the director's box toilets...
9. It's only 7 points between Newcastle and Birmingham now, but thankfully we are aiming for Europe...
10. And by playing John Beck-style long ball football we make sure the midfield doesn't get the ball too often...
11. Is that a metaphor for the relationship between Asprilla's foreskin and the rest of this board?
12. Well, as long as he isn't taking the Jermaine Pennant route... 82345 Well yeah, he has to want it himself... 82348 No, really? Let's just hope for him he isn't taking the Jerm.... 82350 82353 I see that and raise a

15. Sensible choice by Bridge. The man still wants to play in the World Cup and is looking to get fit in time. Only a fool would have signed for Newcastle to work under the current training regime...
16. Back in three weeks, eh. Voluntary this time?

World Cup

Cologne isn't too far away, approx. 1h by car. Frankfurt is further away and it's a fair distance to Nuremburg (500 km).
18. I read into it what I said above, more shares, more dividends, more pies ... I don't think Fat Fred has any other revolutionary plans...
19. That rule was established the day he was appointed tbh. 81319 Well, he could have overthrown this rule by proving his critics wrong (or making us eat humble pie as Hansen said)...
20. Or we won't sign him but will see him to move to a rival club where he is becoming the world GREAT©est goalscorer... ...then sign him several years later for an inflated price and he turns into shite.
21. Fat Fred has constantly increased his shares in the past, so there is nothing new. I cannot see any direct link between the purchase of shares and the lack of making transfer funds available. I somewhat doubt that there are any revolutionary plans in Fat Fred's pipeline, just that he probably wants to increase his annual dividends...
22. He bought another 700,000 shares today, up to 28% now...
