Bayern do get asked a lot about missing out on Woltemade by the press. It was the main transfer saga and us gazumping Bayern out of the blue came as a shock to both Bayern and the press. How can you judge this to be a deflection warranting to say that the player was unlucky to get hit at his arm? I don’t think it made any difference to the direction of the ball. I am surprised by Woltemade as I feared he would need more time to adapt to the game. He does still to get more used the physicality of the Premierleague but it looks like he could cope well.
