From top to bottom our club is riddled with incompetent wanks who are out of there depth. MA...If he was a boss at any firm and the ground staff wasnt cutting it, he would look at the next one down to him to why it wasnt working. Llambias, Kinnear, Hughton and Calderwood are all indept, inferior and clueless fucking tossers. DL....Full of shit, naive and clearly has NO idea what the club is about or HOW to run a football club never mind NUFC which is a different breed of football club to most. JFK....Full of fight but tactically inept and lacks inter-personel skills, no man management and no balls the make KEY DECISIONS ie removing Duff and Butt from the team when required and moving Geremi and Shola as far away from the 1st team as possible. CH and CC...Mite be nice guys but clearly have no fuckin balls to make the key decisions under pressure. Todays team selection showed there ineptatude on a mahoosive scale. Why the fuck not start with Smith in the middle who gives battle and determination in abundance in a game when we need that most? Why play shola fuckin ameobi upfront when he clearly doesnt give a fuck now he has got his contract? Players....I think all in all we have a good squad, some real quality players who which need a good manager to instil a positive mentallity, some good players who need guidance to get the best out of them, some inconsistant players who on there game can be good players but again need guidance and some totally fuckin gash players who should not be anywhere nere the 1st team. --------------- That all been said, MA has to see the writing is on the wall, if we continue in this manner we WILL be relegated and rightly so, the shite has hit the fan, the incompetance has spread and riddled through the entire club and unless SERIOUS action is taken now we will die a painful death in footballing terms. The statement that club morale is high is compete bollocks, the players had NO fight today, gave nothing for the cause and clearly looked like they werent up to the fight. Up until today i had beleived we were to good to go down and that there was at least 3 other sides worse than us. Today is the 1st day in my life i have been genuinly worried about us going down, looking at Boro's performance yesterday they have got something about them, they've turned the corner....we've got fuck all about ourselves at the moment. No belief. Time for some people at the club to take a big fuckin breath and make a decison...If ever a change is needed it is now. The side needs a lift, a sharp injection of positivity and direction and only a new manager can do this. Who we could bring in i do not know...really cant think of who would come and do a job but one thing is for sure, CH and CC will not cut it and even when JFK comes back we are still not going to have the bit between the teeth nor the balls to get ourself out of this great unholy fuckin mess.

Pure gash 1st half...looking shaky I cant work out what formation we are playing here, in any case our midfield is wank! I actually think we should bring Duff on for Lovenkrands. Viduka for Strola. Martins and Gutierrez have been poor.
-
Very VERY possible indeed

I dont think it will put us safe like bud but it certainly would be a massive boost. This is a 6 pointer for sure. Smith and Butt in the middle doesnt exactly get me excited but id rather have either of them ahead of Geremi. I dont think its a bad side we'll field on sunday but its not our best for sure. What is our best side when fully fit?
-
Pretty much the team i think will be picked. How do you feel about strola and oba upfront?
-
Harper R.Taylor---Coloccini---Bassong---Enrique Duff---Smith---Butt---Gutierrez Viduka---Martins Thats what i think will be the team... But id go for... Harper S.Taylor---Coloccini---Bassong---Enrique R.Taylor---Smith---Butt---Gutierrez Martins---Viduka 2-1 win...Martins and Enrique

We can all dream....

?? It means "fluffed your pecker" Fixed Your Post

Well i agree but building for the future is all fine and well if one you have a manager who can guide and nurture young talent and two if we had an immediate plan to maintain and improve our 1st team squad.

I just dont get this like, i mean we have 6 mil left from Milner sale, 6 mil from N'Zogbia sale and about 6 mil from the Given sale....thats 18 mil rite there ffs! Add to that there will be Owen (110k pw) Viduka (60k pw) Geremi (40k pw) all leaving so thats 9.8mil saved on wages plus Givens and N'Zogbia's wages of about 75k together which is another 4 mil off the wage bill... Plus TV revenue of around 50mil from sky and 20mil off setanta....this clearly dont add up. Sounds to me that MA is taking a hefty lump outa what we bring in to pay back the 100mil personal loan he put in for the dept paid off. Although thats understanable, how the fuck can he expect us to progress with a fuckin budget of 10 mil per season. Fuckin FUCKIN FUCKED OFF now!

HABIB BEYE says he hopes to be back to boost Newcastle United’s Premier League survival bid in time for next month’s mammoth home clash with Arsenal. In an in-depth interview with the Chronicle, the popular defender spoke openly for the first time since having his ankle shattered in a horror tackle by Lee Cattermole last Boxing Day at Wigan. Toon star Beye revealed he has yet to receive an apology from the ex-Middlesbrough man after the X-rated incident. Cattermole was at the centre of another storm at his old club this weekend with Didier Digard stretchered off and facing a long-term lay-off, although Boro boss Gareth Southgate has accepted the player got to the ball first during the 0-0 draw. However, Beye is only looking forward and hopes his return to fitness can coincide with Newcastle sealing their place in the top flight next month. Beye said today: “We have talked about Chelsea on April 4. “But I would like to think I could be back in the team for the Arsenal game (on March 21). I was determined to play again this season. “On Boxing Day, they thought four months – now I am one month ahead. “If I’m back by the end of March there will be six or seven games to play. “That wouldn’t be bad. “This has been a hard season for us so if I can salvage something from it, brilliant. “The doctor said five or six weeks at the most and three weeks at the least. “I want to come back quicker, but the important thing is not to feel any pain when I come back. If it is three weeks, perfect. If it is five, it’s five. “I have had a bad injury and I want to make sure I come back without pain. “There is no point in rushing now as I have waited almost three months. “That is long enough, but I am confident of coming back quicker. “Three weeks would be perfect.” Beye lifted the lid on the day Newcastle lost 2-1 at Wigan and he was stretchered off after just 38 minutes. Since then United have won just one in 10, and Beye admits his frustration at missing out on another large chunk of a campaign in which he has already spent time out on the sidelines with Achilles trouble. He added: “It was one of the most harrowing experiences of my career. “I thought my leg was broken. “When I went to the hospital it was a relief as they said nothing was broken. “But when I came back to Newcastle the doc sent me for a scan to look at the ankle". http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcas...72703-23007851/

There has been alot of positive noises coming out about this lads ability. A real ball player. Just what we need, shame he is far to young but id like to see him get a few mins by the end of the season.
-
I agree totally. This is the problem, we dont know if they see him as the man till the end of the season or if they see him as the man for us next season too. If its the latter then im worried, although JFK hasnt been as bad as some make out he is NOT the man to take us foward. Part of me thinks stick with him for the sake of some stability and consistency but he is on a rolling contract so should we get another manager they wont have to shell out on severance fees etc. Im partial to the idea of bringing in Big Al at the end of the season, i totally think he will bring the buzz and have the same impact as what KK had. He will command the repsect from the players and attract players of a good standard, he is ambitious and a strong character. Exactly what we need imo. The thing is that they seem to think JFK works well in the set up, whether that is because he does as he is told and they have him by the nuts or what i dont know. Should we stay up, finish strongly and at the end of the season say they thank JFK for what he done and wish him all the best (He'll get another job now) then i think alot of the guys on here and in the stands will start to put a little faith back into the current regime.

12 points takes us upto 40 pts and closer to Lambrini's Ideal 46 pts for safety. Bolton away i think we will win, always a tough game at the reebok but i think will oba and viduka back maybe guthrie too we can grind out a 1-2 win maybe. ManUre at home will need a goliath effort, if we can hold till half time then i think we can scrape a draw...im thinkin 0-0. Hull City is a nail on win in my opinion some of our worst peformances have been against this lot and id imagine the players will want revenge big time...1-3. Arsenal i think will beat us, i dont know why i say the gunners will beat us and we'll draw against manUre i just have a feeling. Eduardo back and Van persie hates us haha...0-2. Chelsea game i think will end in a draw. Hiddunk will be under preassure and i think Chelsea's wheels wil of fallen off at the time we play them....1-1. Again i think the players will want revenge for throwing a 2 goal lead awayy and only getting a point at home so i expect a good away pefromance and 3 points...0-2. Seem to do well at Spurs and although i think we can win this one im thinking it will be a high octane draw...2-2. That all being said, all the above games we stand a far better chance now with the likes of R.Taylor and Nolan coming in, added to the fact we have Oba and Viduka back as well as Guthrie and Smith. Numbers are improving and some of those players have a massive point to prove. We might even have Owen and Barton back for the last 2 games. Im optimistic as always!
-
I think he has a MASSIVE part to play in the final stage of the season...Id love to see him and oba start against Bolton, that pairing imo is the best one at the club. If he stays fit and gets a few goals and assists then id give him a 1 year pay as you play contract becasue he does still have it. He holds the ball up, great 1st touch, clever n the ball and is a finisher, plus the fact he is probably the only player half decent in the air although Carroll has shown some arial ability. If he does fuck all come the end of the season id let him go but with him and owen set to leave we really do need to go out and get TWO quality replacements as i would not be confident at all going into next season with Carroll, Strola and Smith to partner Oba upfront.
-
I agree in principle, i think R.Taylor will brings us some technical ability down the right and i think would link up well with Beye overlapping, i think Gutierrez will give us flair, trickery and drive down the left and will track back and support Enrique (They link up well on the left). Centre Midfield is the thing really isnt it? I mean Nolan is a battler and is industrious (a more finished version of Guthrie) and Barton who is box to box and has an eliment of creativity about him. But i think we COULD add something better in the mix. Iv said if we can get near enough the 6mil we paid for Barton (Maybe 4mil) then id let him go, ONLY if we could find a modern day Rob Lee...A ball player...Someone in the mold of Carrick (Obviously he is out of our league) But with similar qualities. I think we need one dig and drive and one pick up and pass in CM...Nolan and Guthrie can do the former we just need someone to do the latter. I think Barton has it but whether we will see it is another question.

Beye - Coloccini - Bassong - Enrique That could well be the ebst back four we've had for a LONG time....Beye is solid and consistant and able in both getting forward and at the back. Coloccini HAS ability but at times looks a liability, agreed he is a much better player alongside bassong but i think we will see the best of colo next season. Bassong is a quality player and still very young. Enrique has improved tenfold recently and so long as it continues he has a place in the side. Agree about stick a good midfield infront of them who can retain the ball and protect the defence and we could have a half decent side again. How about... R.Taylor - Barton - Nolan - Gutierrez?

Im in Dublin this weekend so its lookin like im gonna miss it! Anyone been to dublin and know of any good pubs who have sky sports?

Yeah next season mate, hence why i said we'd have another striker in and hopefully another LW. I totally agree about owen and viduka playing a role.....id like to see oba and viduka against everton but again with my lack of faith in our coaching staff they will both be on the bench and we'll start with smith and ameobi upfront. Big game as well because the matches after that are tough as owt. Mind, Everton's away record is superb this season iirc so a draw would be alright imo. Maybe its my blinded optimism but iv just got a feeling we are ging to turn in one of those rare but majestic performances. 2 or 3-1. We've not lost at home to Everton since 2001.

I agree! When we had a few clean sheets i was starting to think that we could be onto something in terms of a stable back 4. What makes me think is...Lambrini come out and said "We are dissapointed we didnt get another RB" so im thinking they didnt sign R.Taylor as a RB, so maybe, just maybe they do see him as a RW? Id be quite happy keeping Enrique at LB as he is finally starting to show MORE signs that he could well turn out to be a good LB for us. But as for playin Taylor RW and Gutierrez LW we face a similar problem to Butt with Duff. Both shouldnt be in the side but both find themselves in the starting 11. And i just dont think our coaching staff have the tactical and ability awareness to drop them from the side. Alex mate id love to see this side when fully fit.... ---Harper--- ---Beye-Coloccini-Bassong-Enrique--- ---R.Taylor--Barton--Nolan--Gutierrez--- ---Martins---Lovenkrands--- Subs: Krul, Kadar, S.Taylor, Duff, Guthrie, Smith, Carroll Butt as an emergancy reserve, Duff only on the bench as i dont see him leaving but id love to let him go and go get Joe Ledley, Smith on the bench as a ulitity player and Carroll on there ONLY if we dont get another striker....which i HOPE to god we do as Owen and Viduka will be leaving. That all being said....that above team alex aint to bad really is it?

Beye quite simply has been our biggest miss this season, just infront of oba martins. He brings a calming influence to side paired with his experience and drive down the right, and defensively he is solid and one of our most consistant performers. With Ryan Taylor coming in we now have a natural replacement until he is back and propper cover should injury strike again. In all honesty i think if Coloccini can settle a little better and get to grips with the PL we have a pretty decent back four in... Beye - Coloccini - Bassong - R.Taylor. As for Butt, this topic should be like himself "exhausted"...He was a player of great quality at ManUre alongside Scholesy. The simple fact is he has been our biggest liability this season, a minimum of 3 penalties conceded, numerous dangerous freekicks given away around the box and absolutely appaulling distrebution and retention of the ball. I can only hope his new deal is on an amount that reflects his current ability and standing in the side. We have to rely on him for a few weeks yet which is a worry, but that being said, in the back of my mind im not too sure if when Guthrie comes back he will be replaced in the side? I just dont think none of the coaching staff have the cahooners to oust him from the side and put in Guthrie. A midfield pairing and Guthrie and Nolan mite not have the creative guile, but it would be dig and drive stuff, industrious and far less calamitous than a midfield with Butt in it.

Totally agree fella!

Great work boyz! Keep it up! We'll be back in europe in 2010/2011 Even if just for pre-season!
