  1. Newcastle striker Mark Viduka has suffered a recurrence of his hamstring injury. The Australia international, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has been badly hampered by groin and hamstring injuries this season. Viduka has made just one Premier League start for the St James' Park side this term and was ruled out of Wednesday's home defeat by Manchester United by his latest setback. Coach Chris Hughton, who is at the helm while manager Joe Kinnear recovers from heart surgery, is confident the former Middlesbrough and Leeds forward will be back in action soon. Hughton told the club's official website: "It's just a minor injury which Mark picked up in training. "It kept him out of the Manchester United game but we don't expect him to be out for too long." Wednesday's defeat by the Red Devils leaves the Magpies just one point above the relegation zone and facing a battle to preserve their Premier League status.
  2. I wish he had of forearm smashed the cunt in the face! Awesome footballer but a complete cockend...
  3. Anyone else see MA on MOTD and think he looked pissed outa his face?
  4. I don't think he'd have any intention of working with the current regime. And I don't blame him. Maybe not but with wise gone he could be persuaded. And any prospective buyer mite be interested in taking us with Big Al at the helm. Just a dream.
  5. Horrible little fucka! I thought he was a decent player at boro but he has a real nasty knack of crippling tackles. I actually cringed when i seen his tackle on parker tonight. NOTE: Iv never seen Parker get so fuckin vexed in my life!! haha
  6. I know its dreaming but....DW and JFK out......let CH and CC stay as coaches until end of season....But bring in wor Al to save the sinking ship.
  7. We need to win them yes but if results keep going against us it could all be in vain.
  8. So we were defeated by fellow strugglers Bolton on sunday and it wasnt the result which was most dissapointing as the performance was of a side who looked not to be a premier league club. What a difference 3 days made, same end result which essentially is the main thing but what was encouraging was in the manner of our performace against the best team in the world. Although we got nothing out of the game we can be heartened by the way we looked to get at ManU and played football again...Bassong, Enrique, Gutierrez and Martins all played well and we need these players to up there game again if we are to get anything out of our immediate upcoming fixtures. We also have Owen and Guthrie back for the away trip too Hull and hopefully they can bring something to the side as the season comes to a close, followed by the returns of much missed rightback Beye and the box to box energy of Barton. We can salvage this season, its not beyond us but i am worried. Worried because we have to rely on other teams results and our fait is no longer in our own hands. These fixtures are the crucial MUST win games, ALL are game's we SHOULD win and all the more important as all the sides are in the same trouble we find ourselves in maybe barring Hull. A point at Hull is a minimal requirement but we really need to be winning against them, and id like to think our boys will want to do them in revenge for our latter two results against them. Stoke City is another tough away game but again we should want revenge for letting a two goal lead slip against them at home. Pompey, Boro and Fulham games are WIN WIN WIN...its a must. The rest of the fixtures are a write off for me and if we pick up points in those games its a bonus. Should we get positive results in those bolded fixtures, im estimating 12-15 points from those games, maybe the Hull and Stoke games we may drop points and only get draws. So 15 points just from the bolded fixtures would leave us on 40-42 points with the possibile bonus of unexpected points in the other games. Its not beyond us and with key players coming back we could well do it, im hopefull but not as optimistic. Come on boyz save our club!
  9. Yeah Century said it was too.....but people are blasting steven for it on here? Hmmm
  10. Mite he be on MOTD tonight?
  11. We played really really well tonight and if we can carry that attitude and performance into our nest games we can get something from them. Enrique was awesome tonight, as to was martins but tired near the end. Well done Geremi too. Results didnt go our way tho
  12. TBH i agree that a GK shoudnt be a captain but when you dont have any other senior players outfield im not too fussed about it rite now. Reading on nufc.co.uk too about baheng making a scoring return after injury for the reserves and he is training with 1st team. He looked powerful and pretty good before he got injured...i wonder if he could make the step up towards the end of the season.
  13. He definatly is smug.... "im talkin to you now from my fuckin lovely home" hahaha I just thought it was a good insight.
  14. He set the tone to be fair. Not really, the next went in and the third went completely wide, Tom you dont need to have a pop after every post I make. Do yourself (yoursel) a favour and give it a break. It's called 'discussion' you pathetic knob. He's 'debating' your point. This is what 'football fans' do on 'forums.' Once in a while people 'disagree' especially when the first is talking a load of cobblers. Board's been great without you lad. But already I can see the signs of you coming in and derailing every thread with your bullshit, wind-ups and trolling, then turning round and crying 'but I have to defend Spurs from all of you, you're "obsessed."' More like do us all a favour. Spot on fella.....the lad needs to give his soft cockney head a wobble.
  15. Always loved this guy...interesting insight to an ex pro's life, how he dealt with being wealthy and his plans after football. All to many times players disapear into obscurity after there playin career's. Id hoped he'd go into coaching and management but i guess having your own brand of wine and a string of properties is a much stressless lifestyle. The guys got his head screwed on.
  16. I think none of us expect ANYTHING against ManU, Arsenal and Chelski....so if the usual strange happening actually happens and we get a point or 2 them its a bonus but now iv got us down for getting nothing from those three games. Hull and Stoke Away are games we REALLY need to get maximun points from, add to that Spurs away with i think we can get at least a point and we are typically good at white heart lane and Pompey at home is another one where we need maximum points. Should we take 10 points out of a possible 12 in the games we SHOULD and NEED to get reuslts then im pretty sure we can stay up. But my faith and confidence in us actually doing so is at an all time low ebb for me.
  17. Tbh i used to hate ManU with a passion but now i find myself actually enjoying watching them. Shoot me down if you like but i think there football is the best in the world atm. Alex Ferguson is by far the best manager ever to grace the planet and deserves all the credit he gets. Although he is a sour faced moaning bastard from the shithole of a place that is Govon.
  18. Nice to see football fans are becoming more ethically diverse, I'm sure you will agree. I couldn't give a fuck. Whats the point of all this ? "you do need to do something different to attract more British Asians to football grounds," what does THIS mean ? Does she want to put out prayer mats for them or something ? So far as I can see, nobody has ever stopped them going in the first place. What a typical load of BBC politically correct garbage. This. I couldnt give a flying fuck.....Zero importance.
  19. Got to agree wholeheartedly with that jimbo. This is the catch 22 that we are in though isnt it? For us to have a real chance of climbing out this hole we need a new manager to give us the boost. But its massively unlikely MA will do so. I really hope he is still looking to sell in the summer....hopefully we can play his game and scrape through to the end of the season still a PL side and he can fuck off for good.
  20. I heard on Century radio thday that its said he is leaving in the summer? Anyone else heard this? Any sources?
  21. Today was a real wake up call for myself and many others i think...we actually did look like heartless championship fodder. Doesnt help when u got two guys who have no fuckin balls to change the game. EDIT: My heart still says we will put in a battling performance but i think my head is sayin the oppersite, i think we are not going to get anything from our next 3 games and i just pray to a god i dont believe in that we can keep the score down as much as possible.
  22. Hahaha...Sorry to dissapoint fella I just needed to get my rant out.....well.....some of it!
  23. Aye but do you actually think he'l act on it? Oh and whats this i hear about wise leaving in the summer?
