I think Long is a canny player as it happens. Not sure about in the PL though. I tell you what though Long has looked a better player at 23 than Sewpa Kev and Marcus Stewart did at 27, both of whom were top Premiership scorers. Yeah our wage limit is about £50k a week for a key 1st team player. Arteta is on £70k a week but that looks like it was a mistake after being crap for most of last season. No way in god's green earth they're going to sell him though. Well he hasn't even scored a goal for them yet. Personally I'm against it, unless we can make it permanent. If he does shite, we'll probably be allowed to purchase him, if he does well and gets 20 goals he'll be in their first team in 14 months and we're back to square one.
