1. Steve the invisible man? I don't feel confident at all, but I'll be at Fed Square in the rain and 3C. By the way, had a haircut yet?
2. Fifa are saying that Markus Merk is a fucking shit, tbh.
3. Parting comment, Ronaldo makes Viduka look like Kate Moss. Ciao.
4. Wireless satellite laptop tbh
5. The ref was a fucking knob but Brazil were the better team, obviously. We made a good account of ourselves tbh.
6. 0-0 at the half. Ronaldo's fresh airey was quite amusing.
7. I hope Moore plays, otherwise we'll have Tony Popovic, in which case I won't even bother watching. Better Moore than shite tbh.
8. Pull means something very different in Australia...
9. Gary Bloom said during the Czech v Ghana match "they'll be watching in petrol stations all over Africa" OK....
10. Never seen why he's so highly rated tbh. He plays for himself.
11. Cheeky ginger bastard It's 6am here, give me a break!
12. Urgh I've just seen that. What a twat! If the Sweden Paraguay match ends in a draw, I'd rest Gerrard AND Lampard in the Sweden game to let their yellow card count reset. If either of them get booked in the next match they'll miss the second round game. 149302 Yellow card counts get reset after the group stage. Sweden are fairly ordinary tbh.
13. We get Martin Tyler and Gary Bloom, count yourselves lucky.
14. What I essentially meant was that if England played like that pre-Rooney against one of the better countries you would lose. No imagination, no flair, lazy defence. I can see them improving as the tournament moves on. What was with the crowd singing god save the queen 50 million times? Atmosphere was very poor for an England match tbh.
15. T&T were 7 minutes away from being my other team
16. England were absolute pants before Rooney came on. Lucky you were coming up against a group of plodders. Lucky you won, because if you put up an effort like that against Sweden they'll flog you.
17. Martin Tyler just made a good point (which isn't often for him), a penalty and red card is very harsh punishment. Should just be a yellow if the foul is in the area tbh. Still, the Ukraine are utter garbage from this evidence. I'm off to bed, can't be arsed watching that enthralling match up next.
18. That ball moves wickedly. I feel sorry for the keepers. Great game to start the WC.
19. I'm thinking Ecuador will be a team that makes a big surprise, their performance against Poland was immense.
20. England aint one of them though. And I know you mean OZ. They looked better with Robinho on. 148678 Nah I don't mean Australia, I don't really rate us that highly, will be happy to reach the second round. And I definately don't include England amongst my possibles. If you had a decent manager and a bit of luck, you'd be up there but again, unfortunately (fortunately you have neither. Just watched the Brazilians, and as someone said, they didn't play as a team. Which is why I think we can get a point off them. But I'm afraid the individual brilliance will win it for them again. Who do we have? Fatty Viduka and Krocked Kock Kewell. Maybe there'll be a dodgy under the table agreement that will see a 0-0 draw and both teams go very close to going through. Am I that cynical to believe that could happen?
21. I'm now fairly confident of getting a point against Brazil. I've been saying all along and getting laughed at, while Brazil are good, they are very overrated. All the hype before the WC started suggested they had already won the thing. Nein. There are half a dozen teams that are at least as good as or better than them.
22. Just goes to show that quite frankly, the yanks are fucking shit.
23. YOU FUCKING FLAMING BLOODY RIPPER!!!!!
24. TWO young brothers, aged 10 and six, wanting to visit their grandfather have driven a car for almost 100km along one of Australia's busiest roads. Reaching speeds of up to 90kph, their journey took them along a major highway in the New South Wales north-west until they were stopped by bemused police. The youngsters had decided to drive themselves to Moree to visit their grandfather about 12.30pm (AEST) yesterday, Moree Police said. Sergeant Matt Clifford the children had been given the keys to their grandmother’s car, probably so they could get something out of it. But instead, they decided to embark upon a long distance Sunday drive. Setting off from Boggabilla, a small town near the Queensland border, they drove the car 85km along the Newell Highway, one of Australia's busiest transport routes, reaching speeds of up to 90kph. Advertisement: Sgt Clifford said passing truckies had phoned police after seeing the boys driving along the highway. They had not been driving erratically, he said. "They weren’t all over the road. The callers had just said they had seen a couple of young faces behind the wheel," he said. The boys’ parents had also called police after realising the children had taken the car. Sgt Clifford said he did not know how the child had managed to reach the pedals while in control of the car. "I thought perhaps he could’ve been standing up," he said. The younger brother was sitting in the front passenger seat. Police caught up with the boys near the end of their 100km journey, sounding the siren flashing their lights to pull them over. The boys did so immediately - then jumped into the backseat of the car and assumed their normal spots. "I don’t know what their thinking was on that one. I guess being kids they thought it would work," Sgt Clifford said. "It a new one to see something like this sort of thing. Fortunately it all ended up quite well." Police drove the car and children to Moree. The boys’ parents and grandparents were spoken to but no further action was planned in the wake of the incident, police said.
25. I don't care that I don't particularly like the sport, it's a perfect opportunity to say.... ENGLAND ARE SHIT
