despite my "woman flu" and sweating like a fat lass in Julies I did enjoy it . I was a bit disappointed that the shit Geordie faction stole most of the time away from the God that is Weller. he was actually supposed to be doing 6 tunes instead of the just the three. I was quite impressed with Ross Noble as I have not seen much of his stuff ( thanks to TL too for the tickets to see him in October x) Jools Holland was fab, that man is some musician, enjoyed Stewart Lee altho I got the feeling that most people just did not "get him" , Ava Vidal made a few people squirm sitting next to me, I think they were uncomfortable with a woman swearing . Johnny Vegas was the dogs bollox and his comment about the old dress code in Julies nearly caused me to have an accident On the downside the dog that is Jill Halfpenny made me want to run on stage and rip the mike out of her hand I can sing better than that ffs !!! ( oh and I was literally in the Gods, exactly one row from the back in the top pine tier of Noahs Ark )
