Can you get those with JD in ????
-
My sister is one of those 30 somethings with a young kid and another one on the way, hence the 4 by 4 she bought to get everyting in and for it's other space and safety features .....she does not however wear the best clothes and spend all day in Sainsbury's....she started out as an Ambulance Technician, then became a Paramedic, then a Station Officer and now runs the Control room....thanks EDIT : my other halfs son knows the kid that was knocked down as he goes to the same school, I also know the parents personally so my sympathy is with them and the family regardless of what kind of car it was !

Doh !!! I bow down to your superior football knowledge..... -
I'll be sure to tell my other half that shes an arsehole based on the car she drives... 152477 If you can give me a valid reason why anyone needs one of those petrol-guzzling child killers unless they have to drive up a mountain then I will retract my statement. 152582 Riiight. So if the issue is because people have died as a result of them then surely the same applies to the majority of vehicles? Sorry like, but I dont care if you get hit at 40mph hour by a 4x4 or at 40mph by a mini, Its gonna hurt. As for the fuel consumption, you get less mpg with a high performance car than one of those. My current car (not 4x4) gets about 36mpg on diesel. Thats not really that much better than some 4x4's but is alot better than some high performance cars. Shocking what this driver did, but I really dont see thats its any worse because he or she was driving a 4x4 and not a standard car. 152606 I think basically though, he or she was driving a 4x4 in Leam Lane, not exactly off road like. 152617 Have you driven through the Leam lately !!!

Blimey Radgina, where did you make that up !!! You have to admit though, that whats the point of the admin saying they run a sensible and adult message board, when they allow themselves and/or their own mods to edit people's posts ? See the thread by ratboy, as well as this one. 150335 OOps...sorry forgot to credit it to Wikipedia... and when did anybody ever say this is a sensible adult message board, bearing in mind the 15 and 16 year olds who post here too ? It was the "emotional response" bit I was referring to when you were asking about post editing...

Debate or debating is a formal method of interactive and position representational argument. Rules governing debate allow groups and individuals to discuss and decide issues and differences. Debate is an aspect of argument which is distinct from logical argument, in that it encompasses aspects of human persuasion which appeal to emotional responses —often based on exaggerated or misrepresented statements or claims. Note the "human persuasion" and "emotional responses" ...

Isn't that all part and parcel of being a punk tho, to throw things, spit on people and jump up and down on each other heads whilst trying to dis-entangle your safety pins and beer towels ??? 150303 Was it Joe Strummer who during a gig was unfortunate enough to have somebody's spit fly into his mouth and end up cathcing a ddisease or soemthing from it? I'm sure it happened to some well know punk frontman. 150312 Think that's what is commonly known as an urban myth... 150315 Well i got it from a tv interview featuring either the person involved himself or band member/crew member who was present, though its from ages ago so i don't remember it well! 150317 No idea then...thought it might be just one of those " and one time at band camp" stories... 150320 Mind you, i wouldn't rule out the fact that i'm confusing that "urban myth" with some other genuine story a band was talking about thats actually true, my memory fluctuates wildly from amazing to abysmal! 150324 I think this calls for some research on your part....would be interesting to find out if it's true...I could ask Baz Warne if he knows anything ??

Of couirse, but changing somones posts, when they insist they have the better argument, is surely the act of a loser and a wanker to boot What a prick. And not the sort of thing to uphold the standing of an "intelligent" board of people who want to debate.. I would expect the irony of it will be lost on the arsehole. 150302 So just fuckin rise above it then, how old are you supposed to be for God's sake, let the people play it's their board too..
