I dont think its as simple as saying one is better in every scenario. Cabaye seems to be the better of the two when Tiote plays. Tiote allows Cabaye to get forward more. When Tiote is out it seems to smother Cabaye's game and suit Guthries more imo. So, assuming Tiote is in the side, play Cabaye.

I was pissed when Nolan and Barton left, but its difficult not knowing all the facts behind the moves. That said, if you consider Tiote and Cabaye their replacement then we are stronger for it. However, to back LM's point, we could have done with keeping Barton as well as having these two as he had started putting in a hell of a shift in RM and would have given us a good option there when we have struggled at times. Barton leaving was fuck all to do with ambition though, nor was Nolan. Barton simply fell out with the board. slated them in public and was driven out of the club for it.

From the clubs perspective you'd think it a no brainer. Cheaper tickets at twice the capacity. I'd imagine it being popular so would likely bring in more revenue than the same area seated.

Thats the thing and exactly what I think has spoiled part of the game. I hate people swearing in front of kids, any kids not just mine. However, if I take my kids in to that environment (a match), then thats my fault. I want to take them to the game, but I know what Im exposing them to. thats why wont take either of them until they watch a full game on tv with me and know whats going on. Seen too many people with kids and the kids aren't even interested in the game and the parents expect all those around them to be quiet etc. The all seater thing wrecked it for me. Well fucked like. Been reading a few things about the whole mess. As said, HMRC want their cash and rightly so. Won't accept pennies in pound as don't want to set a president. Widely expected that receivers will go in and club will be liquidated. I've not paid a huge amount of interest to the political and historical nature of the club, doesn't make good reading though.

It was but tbf they are years ahead of us in building a team. Still on for a top 7 finish which over last season is huge improvement.

Well that was a fun game Tbf we played one of the most in form teams at the moment and were missing out midfield. We know we aint a top 6 side yet. I thought we'd get beat, not thrashed like but for all I dislike them, have to give Spurs credit. Dust off and look forward to the next game.

I rated Beye highly when he was here and it was a shame to see him leave. That said I've been very surprised with his quick drop in quality and as it stands, I'd not have him back. I would have Enrique and move Santon to RB though. I'd take Given but he'd be on the bench. Milner for RM. I'd have Barton but he'd be a squad player. Bassong would also give the depth we ned at the back.
