I'm pleased that when that has been directed at me by people, that you decided to police the place on that occasion too. Anyway, what [or anybody else] do you think of that post about Wolves ? Only if Im directly involved in the conversation. Which is this case I was. Come on man, you've been telling people to grow up all day then you post that?

Any need LM? I didnt know there was a market rate that is checked at audit so appreciated his reply.

Aye, big IF isnt it? While they may have it covered, what is to stop (for example) Chelsea, charging their owner over the top for a box, or advertising, or ground use etc to inflate their income? That said, if they did I assume it would be to break even as they would not want to be taxed on creative income.

Reading the details on the UEFA site saying most of European football is showing an increase in revenue but the costs are increasing at a greater rate, hence the changes being made.

For interest re Financial Fair Play
-
More teams know that the clubs need to be ran differently now. HMRC is clamping down on football and tax evasion (Further reading: http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2012/01/13/hmrc-aim-to-give-elite-football-%E2%80%9Ca-good-kicking%E2%80%9D-on-tax-after-evasion-tip-off-130101/ http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/8849216/Football-Association-ordered-to-open-its-books-as-tax-man-launches-new-clampdown-on-agents-fees.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/consumertips/tax/9103962/HMRC-launches-tax-evasion-task-force.html Plus with the financial fair play rules coming in. It will be interesting to see how the bigger clubs react. Personally, I think there will be some kind of creative accounting to enable the super rich owners to pump money into the club and keep to the rules. Inflated advertising, rent or whatever.

Includes £37 million raised through the sales of Stewart Downing to Liverpool and Ashley Young Aye, that and buying Bent from the Mackems
-
So 1.2% up but losses of >£50M Mind thats including player sales, not just operational.
-
As a bairn we always called these "pop". Now i suppose I call them by what they are "coke" etc.
-
Despite the 53m loss though they have lowered their bank loan by 8m. Basically RL pumped a further £25M in to the club. Also think that loss is after player sales/purchases.

Nice one mate, really nice shots these, slightly akin to the modern "venture" style images. Second top is my fave, I like the fact its mono (my fave) and has some shadow. The full family shot is a really nice shot though maybe slightly over exposed with the young girl having such a fair complexion. Then again it can also be my monitor. If I look from a lower angle its much better. As portraits go, these are some of the best you have done imo.
-
If that last shot had have went in we'd all be going mental about him.
-
The lens was absolutely soaked mate I'm surprised I managed to salvage any shots it all! Yeah I like the mono hi contrast style, very old school.

Fucking class, that vid reminds me of a young me. Fucking hell, how did I miss this. Reminds me when I used to go to the Ritzy (or whatever it was called at the time) mid 80's, saturday afternoon breakdancing

and from a recent (wet) walk up kielder.

Some from the recent Theatre Royal celebrations.

Portsmouth as well. Oh and Darlo. You cant just overspend and think its ok as its football.
-
Sent him an email to order some. Just portrait stuff for now but assuming these are ok Ill order a few more and then also some landscape stuff.
-
I expect someone to buy Rangers. They will come in and settle the HMRC debt and take over the club. I think that would happen before the went "pop". Which they very well could, if no one came in.
-
It is, but that doesnt quite answer the question. Any debt for any business has to be secure if the money is from a bank. If you have an owner that is bank rolling you, then that isn not the case. If like most clubs you rely on banks then they will only lend so far as makes commercial sense to themselves. It may be that directors give some personal guarantee for smaller clubs or that a valuation of company assets is set against a loan. I dont imagine this could include players so I suppose this could only include property etc and perhaps a bank may agree a loan against future income, though thats risky. All debt needs to be serviced and a bank will not simply write money off as the business is making a loss.
