1. I see. Suppose it's a good disguise if he wants to get served in the Trent as well.
2. Enjoyable series. How does it work with the ape in the live show though? Do the rspca have concerns about animal exploitation?
3. Go on then. Ask him if Zippy is available for after dinner speaking too.
4. The Edwyn Collins of kids tv I reckon.
5. Totally agree, seems like a labour of love for the bloke to get this project a reality.
6. This one goes from just before he met his wife and the Warsaw days to his death, so it's pretty specific and condensed timewise. It's also got the support of the Joy Division memebers, so it should be pretty true to how it happened. Which to be honest means there'll be some pretty grim stuff in it, but it wasn't a sugar sweet story.
7. The only person to come out of the Anfield Rap carry on with a shred of credibiliity. Shame he's used that cred up a thousandfold on channel 5!
8. one that I've got massive hopes for is the Ian Curtis one they are going to start shooting in May. Anton Corbjin, who did the Depeche Mode videos like 'Enjoy the Silence' is directing and working off the book by Curtis' widow. He was an absolute Joy Division nut, so I hope it'll be top.
9. Was going but gave my tickets to my Brother in return for a Chelsea ticket. Bet it'll be a cracking gig though, Editors will rock the academy. I'm off to see them in London in May now instead.
10. Well catmag's got me up to speed on what I haven't seen today, so cheers. Just switched it on for a look, couple of wickets and get into the order and you never know.
11. What we need is Tendulka to catch one right on his pinky. His broken fingers would eventually heal. 102167 Aye get the captain leading from the front bowling down some bone snappers when we're in the field.
12. Nasser Hussian didn't help matters either. He was waxing lyrical about how good a batsman Ian Blackwell was, then next ball he got bowled. As if they didn't have enough to contend with. If Hussain isn't bigging up every Indian batsman before every ball in their first innings, I'm going to be asking serious questions.
13. I know, unheard of isn't it? If nothing else keeps the old reputation going
14. Well organised today, started an hour and a half early. Not typical loafing behaviour I admit, but worth it for an early finish and earlier start on the ale tonight.
15. On the bright side the Bigg Market's going to disappear. Hopefully concrete rockports are the new craze for charvers when the waters start rising.
16. Certainly packed a hell of a lot into their career, including plenty of excess. Read that Mould had to resort to rubbing speed under his eyelids during the making of one album as he'd been tanning it that much it was the only way he could get a buzz, and keep up work on the record. Pretty hard core to have to resort to that. Anyways better be offski to get finished up for a reasonable time. Nice to see another fan of a cracking band about, catch you soon mate.
17. It was yeah. Agree with you there, I liked both their stuff, but definitely it's Bob Mould's name that springs up first when the band gets mentioned. I always thought Hart was a fantastic drummer too, really put everything into it, with terrific results.
18. Fucking quality anarl. 95715 Been getting into the old Husker Du back catalogue the last couple of weeks. Must have played 'Could you be the one' about two hundred times, absolutely cracking band.
19. The Pixies. Husker Du. They'd be two I'd say.
20. Blade on Friday night, seen it before, but you can't go wrong with a cracknig old style action flick like that. Must get round to buying the box set and watching them all back to back at some point.
21. Can I add John McCririck to the list, odious fat bastard. Had to switch the racing off on Saturday, he was that annoying.
22. I think they knocked it out too quickly. I think there was less than a year between the first and second albums. I'm all for getting the music out there, but maybe if they'd taken a little bit more timeover it, it would have been better.
23. How about Preston - they've not been in the PL either! 93449 Too many North West clubs already I reckon. Any more get into the Prem they may as well just close up and run a Lancashire league.
24. You wouldn't be wasting your time giving their first album a listen Rob.
25. It's a cry for help. For the good of the nation the people with white coats and nets should have been at SJP to round up and take away all these wannabees.
